Good adventurers of the Sword Coast. For too long now have organisations of evil, selfishness and greed been heading the efforts against the devils attacking the Sword Coast out of Dragonspear Castle. That we should have to rely upon evil to defend the Sword Coast from evil should be alarming to every soul living along the Sword Coast and in the Western Heartlands. They will use this to spread their tyranny and evil, for this gives them leverage and opportunity.

The paladins and knightly orders have gone silent and missing, and we who are of benevolent intentions are scattered and disorganised. If the good people of the Sword Coast wants it to remain free, we must band together and face the threat of evil wherever it comes at us from.

A stout quietly steps out of a mighty oak on the outskirts of the Friendly Arm Inn, the energy of his Tree Stride spell dissipating quickly. After reading the missive in Baldur's Gate, he decided to arrive early to explore the forest surrounding the inn a bit since he was here only once before. After patting the tree almost affectionately, he quietly slips into the wilds.
