As always, what I suggested in the topic name. Currently, smite good is pretty much useless, it's usable once per day and blackguard levels don't stack with any other classes in terms of determining smite damage.
What I suggest, is:
1) Make Blackguard levels stack with Divine Champion levels in terms of smite damage calculation.
2) Make Smite Good usable 1 time per day per each 2 levels of blackguard (starting from 2), which would mean BG 10 will be able to smite good 5 times per day.
What I suggest is also a really good solution to what was discussed in this thread. As an option, add sweet features like Practiced Smiter (adds +4 levels for smite damage, but no more than 30 in total) or destruction domain adding +4 levels to smite evil.

The main problem would remain in the form of a complete, or nearly complete, lack of targets outside of PvP.

Re: Buff Smite Good!
There was a potential blackguard remake that Endylon vaguely suggested a while back which fixed this issue altogether.

Are you sure it doesn't stack with Divine Champion smite infidel?
And it does stack with orc domain's smite good, I'm pretty sure. Probably smite infidel from destruction domain too, if divine champion stacks.

No, they do not stack. This is tried and tested. Are you sure it doesn't stack with Divine Champion smite infidel?

Smite good from blackguard does not stack with smite good from orc domain.
Smite infidel from divine champion does not stack with smite infidel from destruction domain.
