Re: DM Rumors of Baldur's Gate
Rumour is that three Knights of the Everwatch were arrested in the Baldur's Gate graveyard today for some reason or another. The Watchknights had seemed to comply, though the occasional loud commanding to "WALK" or "MARCH" by the arresting Flaming Fist Sergeant suggests that there may have been some arguing as they wandered to the Flaming Fist headquarters in the Docks District.
The three Watchknights were released again not long after and was seen exiting the Flaming Fist fort together with a black-clad man with a black, brimmed hat.

Re: DM Rumors of Baldur's Gate

The harbour is bustling with news of three ships have arrived at Baldur’s Gate, sailing under Bandera of Neverwinter. As soon as they’ve arrived at piers, several numerous contingents of soldiers have left the ship decks, forward came a richly armoured soldier that had met with Captain Beluarion and a small group of Flaming Fist soldiers. The soldier, or Commander Vann as he introduced himself, is said to have publically proclaimed to have arrived here with three Companies of Neverwinter’s soldiers as a nod of the Lord’s Alliance to Baldur’s Gate in the growing efforts to put an end to the infernal invasion of Dragonspear Castle. The Commander has been invited to the Flaming Fist compound, while his soldiers station themselves around the Lord’s Alliance Headquarters and Flaming Fist Headquarters for the time being.
Apparently, another three companies have been stationed with Waterdhavian soldiers out near Daggerford- the northern frontline of Dragonspear War.

As the news spreads of free drinks, off duty Flaming Fist are seen more and more often in the Siren's Song; its becoming a popular haunt for them due to free drinks!Truthiness wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03, 2019 7:13 pm Word would spread among the harbor and other parts of the city that the Siren's Song is offering free drinks to Fist, due to their involvement in the ongoing war and the ship's support of the city's troops.
Rumor might also spread of the Captain of the Siren's Song, Fenix Wandersoul, wanting to get more involved with the front lines, although how he intends to do so is drawn into question.
It certainly keeps any potentially lairy patrons in line.

Re: DM Rumors of Baldur's Gate
More news spread amongst the public of Baldur’s Gate as, out of nowhere, a group of human and elven wizards bearing emblems of Silverymoon have appeared out in the northern farmlands of Baldur’s Gate. Soon after, they together have opened something that appeared like a magical gate from which came several contingents of dwarven and human mixed with half-elven soldiers- led by a silver-haired woman carrying a staff fashioned into a head of a unicorn.
These soldiers (Several hundreds of them), grouped in separate companies, have in turn been met with a Flaming Fist. After sharing some words with the silver-haired woman and commanders of the foreign soldiers, the Flaming Fist returned back to the city, followed by the woman under intense guard of her own retinue of mages and knights, while the soldiers set up a camp for themselves in the northern reaches of Farmlands. Some may recognise the insignias of soldiers as hailing from Mirabar, Citadel Adbar, Sundabar and Silverymoon.

Re: DM Rumors of Baldur's Gate
Recent reports from the frontlines has indicated a former Red Wizard by the name of Kahanak has been witnessed using ancient and powerful necromancy spell. The spell in question strips the life of everything around the arcanist before summoning a massive undead-like creature. Citizens should be on the lookout for a bald man with a round nose and head tattoos. It is possible he has grown hair since then. Kahanak is wanted by General Scar for questioning and forbidden to enter Duke land until the investigation is completed.

Upon completion of the investigation, Kahanak is set free from the Flaming Fist Compound.

Two ragged, dirty young ruffians might have been seen fleeing from the vicinity of the Ilmateri orphanage toward the eastern gate. The bigger of the two might have been heard snickering, "That was way too easy!" while his smaller compatriot staggered along after him, barefoot, sneezing, and gaunt.

The towers, massive shields, and catapults make their way to the front of the Baldur's gate awaiting their next seige. Flaming Fist soldiers and Eldorian carpenters work through most of the day fixing the small breaks in the wood. Throughout the morning the repairs come to completion.

The tolling of bells peals throughout the farmlands of Baldur's Gate, originating from the Chapterhouse of the Radiant Heart Auxiliary. Word is quickly spread throughout the locale that Ser Aaron Lyonaler has risen to the rank of Grand Knight.

Re: DM Rumors of Baldur's Gate
A small caravan train of three wagons trundles into Baldur's Gate from the direction of the Uldoon, escorted by what appears to be hired security and bearing, at a glance, kegs and barrels and sacks and bushels of fair variety. The wagons and their guardians submit without qualm to a once-over by Flaming Fist officers before the supplies begin to be offloaded to the priests of the temple of Torm in Baldur's Gate. These supplies are left with instruction that they are to be given out to the local refugees and generally needy folk of the area in this time of conflict. However, pressed for time with other deliveries of import, perhaps, the caravan does not linger long.
The priests of the temple of Torm, finding nothing suspect after a thorough check of the donated foodstuffs, gladly deliver the supplies to those in need.

Re: DM Rumors of Baldur's Gate
The wildest speculations arise of sacrifices to the Bitch Queen, some are less extreme but with most swings a large amount of scepticism.
People begin to talk and inform the more socially accepted orders and organisations in hopes for their aid.
//There is going to be an event on Sunday 22nd of March for the orphans and poor children of the City, it will be mainly organised by the umberlean Church but any orders, organisations or even singular players that have previously shown interest in these poor little kids can please approach me with their ideas on the matter. I would ask for really only those that are very much interested and invested in this to come to the event as I fear for a rather large scale of this either way.
Please contact me ahead of time if you wish to partake so I can plan accordingly and possibly get myself support where needed.
Thanks for your understanding.
Best regards,

A small detachment of Flaming Fist soldiers can be seen exploring the sewers. . . .

No sooner has one detachment of Flaming Fist soldiers left for the sewers, than another group returns to the City from the Troll Claw hills fresh from a duty that seemed more to their liking it would appear. This detachment is released from duty and soon explore the City Inns to remark on a job well done; commemorating the City Guild efforts in the Devil wars as it pertained to Troll Claws hills.

*It is said that in recent days unusual parties of undead have been spotted and combated in areas near Baldur's Gate, particularly the Fields of the Dead. Why remains unclear...*
