What do you recommend: read the book first, then watch the TV Series? Don't bother with the book, go straight to eyeball candy? Forgo the TV Series entirely?

Read the book first. It's pretty great. I also enjoyed the first season of the series, but I didn't find it very similar to the book. Or maybe I just forgot how things went in the book :? ... I haven't watched the second season yet, still a decent show though.
There are no level 30's, only level 20's with benefits...
