Computer melt down
Hi
well my old computer had a melt down so i got a new one. Problem is i got angient cds for nwn2 since the game was released and last time i tried to install it all i needed tons of files cep etc. Is it still possible to use this old cds? or shall i buy latest game where original and expansions are in one package and down load it?
If the old cds still could work what do i today need to get them to work.
Help

Do you have all expansions and only need the patches?

As an original product owner, you can also download the files via Torrent, and then just plug in your unique Serial numbers.

This is also true, at least in EU. Not sure if it applies to the GoG version, but I doubt anyone would really care.

It does! I have my CDkeys on mail, like 3 different emails and dropbox, while I have a gog version of the game on my backup HDD.

As the others have said, in EU at least you can obtain a DRM free version using grey means provided you have proof of purchase - which you do by possessing the discs.Skalden wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2019 1:30 am Hello

CEP is for nwn1, for nwn2, I would just grab a GOG copy off Torrent since you already own the game, and punch in the CD Keys in the ini file, patching it manually is a pain in the ass

Sight and i had to send an issue about the cd keys to gogs support didnt get them. Not a good start . Hopefully i be in again sometime.
My old keys i got should it be possible to use them on the downloaded game? if so how do i put them in ? on the old cds there was "windows" with 5 letters or numers and it automaticly jumped to next window during typing. That is not the case in the new cd keys rows tried to type in it all but didnt find a way to klick ok it was blanked

Go to install directory, search, type into search "*.ini" (drop thr quotation marks) and click on the file that is named nwncdkey or sth similar.Skalden wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 3:40 am Sight and i had to send an issue about the cd keys to gogs support didnt get them. CDkey 1 is original game, 2 is MoTB and 3rd is SoZ. If it fails, try another combination.

Re: Computer melt down
Hi again.
I got in but have an issue with resolution on the game.(stuck with 1024-768) cant change it in option menue the game get black if i try to change it for sharper immage. as it is now 1/3 of the screen is black on sides (got windows 10 now) wasnt a problem with my old comp had windows 7 then
any suggestions on how to maybe fix this?

Re: Computer melt down
Well problem solved by mistake
could change it after removing the marking in full screen in game options gues it shouldnt be marked by x if changing resolution
