- Me quits! - Said Furin. Punching the desk.

- But you just joined our army 15 minutes ago! - Said the young man in charge of recruiting new members for the Waterdeep guard.

- Ye be dumb lad? Me said that me quits! - He had a clear smile behind his beard now.

- Well Allright... Give me your gear back and your weapons. - Said the recruiter.

Furin took off the equipment and gave it to the soldier being left only with his underclothes. Seeing that the recruiter tried to hold a laugh and said:

- Err... sir... You can have that armor over there... It's not being used by anyone at the moment.

- Really? Hah! Thanks lad! Me was going to buy another one anyways. - Then he took the chainmail.

The recruiter was counting some gold and gave it to Furin after he finished gearing up.

- Here is the gold referring to the sign up bonus... as you're leaving now you will not get the weekly payment.

- Bah! This will do! - Furin was really excited.

- Err... sir Furin... may I ask you what are you going to do now?

Furin gave a big grin behind his beard and said:

- Hah! Me heard something is going on near Baldur's Gate, I heard me family name and me be goin' te check up! Me thinks me 'cuz Foinus is behind this... that old son of a hag! Ha!

The recruiter was smiling now

- Well, I wish you good luck then, sir Furin.

- Ha! Thanks lad!

The boat was sailing swiftly but either that way it was shaking too much for Furin. He turned to the Captain:

- Oi Lad! It still much te go? Me stomach feels funny!

The captain smiled back and said:

- We have just arrived, sir...

- Oi!? We did?

- Yes we did... you want me to lift you up so you can see?

- Bah! Ye gotta be kidding me! No one lifts a dwarf!

The captain laughed and said:

- Now excuse me sir... I must take care of things now. Welcome to Baldur's Gate.

- Hah! Thank ye lad!

Furin got off the boat looked around and smiled. Well, now I have to find that dog!, and he went to the Elfsong Tavern.
