Does a ranger's animal companion increase in size as the character gains levels?
Cuz some of them are rather...puny.

Re: Animal Companion Size
Monstrous companion not only changes size but race!
Wirg to Pug: "Iz lat dun?"
Pugratix to a snarky militia man: "Mmmm. Not yet. I will live for hundreds of years and be heralded as one of the greatest forces of destruction on the face of the world. The only thing you can destroy is the outhouse."

I am sure you will wish them to be less impressive in size at some point XD.
I have been annoyed by the large hit boxes of four instance larger spiders often times XD.
You wanna click somewhere and just keep hitting the legs or just the other part of their hitbox especially in tight dungeons and tunnels of the UD

Re: Animal Companion Size
My ranger just hit level 12 and I have yet to see my animal companion change at all in size. Like not even an inch.
For RP purposes, I went with Arctic Wolf as it befits my northlands character.
But it should really be renamed Arctic Fox because it's about the size of a beagle. Hardly the frost-breathing giant-fanged lupine that I imagined.
So at lvl 12, can I still expect my companion to actually ever get a bump in size? Like will it ever grow above my knees? Or is it perhaps an issue with the Arctic Fox that it needs to be set to increase in size?

Re: Animal Companion Size
I have one from way back, and it ends up about the size of a wolf (maybe a wee bit larger). I dont remember when the size increases, but it will eventually. The starting sized on them could all be bumped up a bit, or at least earlier. They are pretty tiny.
