Talking about Bull's, Cat's, Owl's etc.
I've noticed that whether i take potions or cast assassin spells, I have never seen a +3-4 boost to the ability score. Only ever 1-2 with a +1 modifier being the end effect.
Is this a BG-only feature or is my luck absolutely abyssmal?
Could it be a bug?

Re: Ability Booster Spells
It doesn't stack with stat-increasing items.

Re: Ability Booster Spells
Way bonuses stack is:
There are multiple types - sacred, enchantment, morale, proficiency, untyped.
They stack with each other, but two of the same type will take the highest.
Usually everything is enchantment. Barbarian rage is morale IIRC. Paladins get a sacred str bonus spell.
