Hey Lock, the thread is not asking for a new Elven PRC or any new class content. No matter how the Elves model themselves as tough, they'll never compete with the Dwarven Defenders!

Put this build to the test this past few days, having finally got to lvl 28 with it.

Gear:
+4 dodge boots
+4 armor clothes (the ones sold for 50k in the Wide)
+2 nat armor amulet (Cloaked amulet, greater)
+3 int helmet with the bonus spells
+2 str/dex ring (ring of the knight) with Toughness
+3 Shield Rapier/Rapier with vamp regen.
regen cloak.

Was capable of soloing the Serpent Hills without issue, switching to the vamp regen sword to heal up if a hit gets through the AC. Used mirror image when 1v3, otherwise was wholly unbuffed. Sometimes used Shield to be able to use vamp regen more reliably.

Defeating the boss required full buffs (IMA, Spiderskin, Deez's, Mirror) and about 3 castings of Spell Mantle, 1 casting of Spell breach to remove death armour. Takes a long time with melee, but has enough spellslots to blast her with IGMS/ILMS/orbs, especially with Silent spell increasing effective spellslots. (at level 28)

Was also capable of carrying a pre-epic wizard into Netherese Ruins and back, even after buffs were gone, relying on Athkatlan/ICE and EW and MI when surrounded. Closest to death was fighting a yellow name salamander noble in the Netherese, due to getting hit with a bigby.

Gameplay is mostly as predicted: tank stuff and slowly whittle away.

Due to not requiring buffs, this build can prep like 8 IGMSes and 10 ILMS/orbs, 10 lesser orbs to blast stuff to pieces when rapier doesn't work. Not very elegant magic, but it's still much more blasting than a classic gish.
