Home Location

Saving home location doesn't work and it hasn't for a very long time.

I can verify that, at least for Candlekeep which I tried to save as home location a few days ago.

Where does it go wrong? Is it when you click on the object to save home location or is it when you're coming in from the Nexus? This will help me narrow it down.

The conversation with the home location clickies in the game world work fine, but in subsequent log ins, I never get an option for spawn at a home location. It's like I never chose one, except I have; several times.

I wonder if another option got added to the layers of conversation with the intro NPCs. It's on my list of bug wrassling. There's a larger thing I need to take bites out of first, tho.

I don't know if this got fixed in one of the updates but setting home location (Candlekeep) worked for me when I did it a day or two ago.

Doron Amar worked for me before I RCR'd, after RCRing, it does not seem to work anymore.

BTW, Beregost Home Location works and has always worked. I use it with Toons all the time, before and after RCR as well. Suggesting that if there is a way to compare, perhaps use the Beregost as a working base example.

Saving at candlekeep worked for me. This might be similar to the issues with marking a location for teleportation. If so everyone who fails should make sure they are trying to use the function only on their first login for the server reset, see if that helps.
