Born He has no clear idea where, or when exactly he was born. As a babe, he was dropped off in front of the door of a house in Sembia. Reluctantly, he was brought in and "raised", until he was "old enough" ( couldn't have been much more than 7 years old ) to take care of himself. Moving out His surrogate parents thought this a good enough moment to kick him out without feeling too guilty, and so a life on the street began. However, very soon, Tyrynn realised he had a way with words. Instead of begging, he started trading out in the streets. He started small, and went bigger and bigger. He always knew what people needed, and if they didn't need it, he convinced them they did. He wasn't very tough or strong, but nearly always knew how to talk himself out of sticky situations. He'd run whenever that didn't work. Occasionally he did end up beaten though. Tyrynn's Market Eventually, word got around on the street. If you needed something, Tyrynn was your man. If he didn't have it, he'd get it. If you wanted something from someone else? He'd get it too! Ofcourse, it was probably more myth than truth, but it served him well, and at the age of 15 he was no longer a beggar. He could often sleep at "friends", or pay for shelter, and his beggar days were over. Off the streets Word of his diplomacy and persuasion got out, and he'd rent his services to settle disputes between nobles, or to settle marital cases. He even lived in a house that he could pay by himself, and he got himself fancy clothes to even look the part. In Sembia, your background is less relevant than your wealth, and as such, Tyrynn actually started working his way up. Most would think, he had everything he wanted. But not Tyrynn. He wanted to cut loose of his past, of the memories and of who he was. He sold all his stuff except for the clothes on his back, and went looking for a new start. A new start He's hoping to find it here... in Baldur's Gate. | |
