A Paladin from the Temple of Tyr leaves a message for the members of the temple, knights and clerics.
To the Worshipers of The One Who Endures,

My name is Feldran Konstadt, Paladin of Tyr and Lawkeeper of the local temple in Baldur's Gate.
I seek allies for a mission I have given to myself, for the Lords of The Triad and for this city.
I would also like to speak and share opinions with the local faithful.

If you want to hear more, please find me at the Temple of The Maimed God, or leave a message for me there.

My most sincere regards,
Feldran Konstadt

A young blonde woman was seen escorting an elderly halfling woman into the Illmater temple. Some of the patients would have overheard and may tell the tale that the elderly woman was seeing her husband in the place of a floating skull. The young blonde would leave a donation for the woman's care.

The elderly gnomish woman, a local Baldur's Gate resident, awoke the next morning in a befuddled state. After much questioning by the Temple priests, it was determined she had no recollection of "a talking skull" and only a vague remembrance of a nice evening stroll with her husband Monroe. The priests could detect little resonance of evil either about her or within her. And the elderly woman was readily willing to stop buy the church for an occasional "treatment" if needed. Later that morning, care of her was passed to her husband Monroe Muncy, a long-time resident, local priest of Gond, and part-time groundskeeper for the Baldur's Cemetary.

A red-haired tiefling woman in blue robes can be seen, like every day, approaching the orphanage at the temple of Ilmater. This time, she would approach one of the priests with a grim expression, handing him some gems as a donation for the orphanage. Those close enough would hear her saying:

This won't wash the blood on my hands, but it will at least do something good.

At dusk, two women arrive to the Temple, one of them having worked there earlier the day, another one a fresh face. The latter, a grey-robed woman inquires whether the Temple is in need of medical aid, speaking how she heard from an Ilmaterian named Mill how there is always use for capable hands.

The two women go to sit by the door leading towards the chapel, conversing for a moment before the woman in brown dress offers bags of gold to the woman in grey, for supplies. The woman in grey pulls her hair up into a messy bun before getting about to see those to those resting in the Temple, helping with washing, bandaging and, if allowed, even operations that might need a hand.

Those who might see her at work could quickly make the assumption this is by no means her first visit to a place in need of a healer. She works throughout the night without as much a complaint, not eating and barely drinking more than a couple of sips of water.

If asked, she only introduces herself as Linetheil, before going back to work.

The upcoming weeks would see the grey-robed woman come around sporadically - usually appearing around dusk and leaving by dawn. She would aid wherever it is needed, whether it is soaking up bandages, keeping up the fire to heat up the water for baths - or helping with the medical aid.

She also offers to do health check-ups for the children in the orphanage, were such needed.

During the late afternoon a red-headed man wearing a copper-color tunic, and the armband of Candlekeep is brought inside the church. Several others follow by his side, one of them, a large man in armor, all but carries the red-head inside. One of the devouts of Ilmater, Mira, can be seen together with another woman, this one hooded. They both tend to the red-headed man, while others come and go. It is not long before the man is carried upstairs, with Mira staying at his bedside for observation.

There is talk among those there that the hospitalized man suffers from a mental affliction presenting itself as terrible nightmares and night terrors. It is not long after Mira is left alone with the man that the pained and terrified cries of a male voice can be heard coming from the patient quarters in the church.

The Sanctuary is busy in the eve, as the grey-robed woman wanders in to start a shift. Upon hearing of the incident with the red-headed man, she immediately heads up towards the ward, where pained cries are heard well before her arrival.

Throughout the night, the woman stays with the man; As there are no signs of him waking up, she asks the nurses to go and fetch another blanket but not to return before the woman spesifically asks so. Time passes, and one of the nurses is forced to break the request, as a blood-curling scream echoes from the room - whatever transpired in the small confinement in the room, it has made the man wake up. He is found sobbing, barely able to stay up, whilst the woman appears calm, if momentarily paler than usual.

The man is then taken to a bath, where Linetheil leaves the nurse to tend to him for a time being, being called elsewhere within the sanctuary. She is also seen outside the baths talking to a beautiful woman wearing rather luxurious blue fabrics, with whom she appears to hold some degree of familiarity with.

After his bath, the man is taken back into the bed. Linetheil remains there for a time before departing.

Were anyone to visit Adrian, they would find a neat, hand-written message by the chair closest to the curtain. The message is a simple log detailing the time Adrian had woken up, that he had been bathed, clothes changed and old ones taken to the wash, sheets changed, fed a simple meal of soup, and that he has been given an herbal remedy to help him with sleeping. The note would be dated at dawn.

At the bottom of the note, there is a nother, quick scribble, as though it has been put in as an aferthought after the whole log was done, 'Candlekeep has been informed.'

Aided by the herbal remedy from Linetheil, the red-headed man finally receives a solid sleep that lasts from early morning until midday. There is little change in his exhausted state, however, one night of solid sleep not enough to dispel several days worth of unmet sleep. Aided by one of the nurses, Adrian is treated to some late breakfast, lunch really, before being herded back to bed. He asks to be left alone to meditate, as it is a morning ritual for him.

Loud yelling can soon be heard from the ward, and nurses arrive to find the meditating man wandering around aimlessly, eyes staring into nothingness, while yelling all manner of nonsense, and, apparently, looking for a weapon. Anyone visiting thereafter finds Adrian restrained to his bed, with a note left on a nearby chair to explain the circumstances and reasoning.

The young Amnian Ilmateri woman is seen tending to the bed-ridden man, taking a bowl of water and cloth to wipe down his body from the sweat and other filment covering it while restrained in the manner he is. Several times throughout the day she wound wander by the room, taking his temperature and otherwise tending to needs he has from bathroom usage to walking him to the baths and helping aid him in fully bathing his body. After baths, she would return him to his bed carefully and assure his restraints were tight but not pressing into his skin to hurt him any further. She would sit with him, slowly feeding him a dinner of soup to warm the belly and give him strength.

She would write notes leaving them for the other Brothers and Sisters of the Temple to see and further understand his conditioning, state of mind, and other things she has noticed in her time with him. She also informs of the time of his last bath, his last meal, and his last time having to use the bucket.

Mira would softly smile and assist the other Sisters around when she was able, watching Linetheil and speaking with her quietly in passing by of the halls of the conditioning of Adrian and the other patients in the ward.

A monk of the Old Order is seen entering the Ilmateri infirmary. He, too, tends to the red-haired man for a while. The monk wipes the sweat off the man and keeps a damp towel on his forehead to bring down his temperature. The monk also gently fans the man with a makeshift fan fashioned out of a scroll.

When the man wakes, the monk speaks to him about meditation. Whether his words are of any help remains to be seen.

After the man falls back asleep, the monk quietly leaves.

After hearing through rumours of the red-headed man being admitted to the infirmary during her errands in the city, a short moon elven woman made her visit within the temple, moving upstairs after investigating the rumours and identifying herself as a friend of the man, and something of an old-timer of Candlekeep.

Her visit at first was quiet, filled with apprehension at what she witnessed. Soon after though, she went to try and provide some ease to the infirm man, undoing his shackles and bindings, treating the wounds his trashing left him with using a handful of magical trinkets that allowed even lay-people to channel the healing arts of the Power.

After Mira had made her rounds, and took over to attend to Adrian, the moon elf left the temple and returned some time later with a medium-sized wicker full of stockfish and salted cod as an anonymous donation for later, and for the friend she had been tending.

After Mira had attended to the patient's needs, she continued her amiable visit, trying to mask the pity she felt from Adrian to try and encourage him without much success, and eventually the man fell asleep, requiring a round of wrestling and magic to subdue him. She had used an illusion magic based upon shadowstuff to sap his strength, so that he'd hurt himself less in his sleep.

After everything was settled again, she departed at dawn.

Guide Isabella Villame arrives after a few days to check up on her erstwhile acolyte to find him barely able to speak, a bit delusional and half strapped to the bed. When she saw him three days ago... he was fine! She is none too pleased and with more than a few grumblings starts the gears in motion to get the fellow transferred to Candlekeep.

For a couple of past days Linetheil has largely been absent from the Sactuary - though it is nothing unusual.

During dusk a couple of days after her previous visit, she wanders inside only to find out about the recent changes that have happened in the red-headed man's state. She reads through the log in silence and catches up with a couple of other patients she has previously tended. Seemingly content with how things are going, she nods and begins her usual rounds of aiding and tending to those in need of help. She peeks briefly behind the curtains of Adrian's little cubicle, but does not act, seeing someone else already tending to him. However, she does remain for a moment, absent look seemingly watching somewhere past the restrains he has been forced into, and there is a flicker of something in the woman's eyes before her name is called and she makes her way off.

Assisting a particularly nasty, puss-oozing case of an adventurer's run-in with an orc, she flickers her gaze to the young aide, who quietly asks her of her opinion regarding the man's state - and the Guide's decision to transfer him to Candlekeep.

"The Guide does as she sees fit with those under her wing. Though this one would be inclined to agree that perhaps another place would be more suitable for him."
