Taking a break from godly duties

Unread post by DM Anansi »

Fellow players and gods, I am sorry to say this but I will be taking some time off of this realm.

It is the other realm that has fallen into crisis that has changed my doings a lot and has left my creativity trailing behind. This has lead to me seeking out other realms to divert my attention and in generally left me with less time to enjoy the more playful things in my Immortal life.

This is by no means a good bye but for now I am in no condition to further enrich this realm with the kind of quality of great stories I would want to deliver.
Therefore I will say that I will see you in the future, when this glorious time will be, we will see but I am certain it will come.

Thanks for taking me into your mids with this great kindness that you've shown. Also be reminded that my fellow gods do a great deal of work for all of you, it may seem like the responses given are slow to come but you can not even imagine how many of your prayers hit our ears and yearn for our word back on a daily basis.

This is also a reason for you to put aside your petty squabbles with one another as that is a very draining kind of prayer to deal with, one wants one the other the other and in the end it is often us gods that get scolded.

Now raising these prayers is of course your right but try to get along with your fellow mortals in an attempt to lessen the burden on your pantheon and allow for them to create rather than to destroy.

Now all that said I will be looking forward for my return and I hope some of you will too. Do not worry I shall return.

Friendly greetings from the God of stories, your friendly little spider,

DM Anansi

Take the time needed Anansi! I've thoroughly enjoyed every one of your stories Arturi has had the chance to take part in with others. While your presence will be missed, Im happy to hear you're aligning your priorities. I think I speak for many I've talked with that we're in good hands with the current team, but we look forward to your return all the same when you're ready. Thank you.

Break a leg.
"They're just furry and misunderstood."
"Is that why you are killing them?"
"Yes. They will atone in death."
"Ah. That will help them understand."

You've been killing it, spider god. It must help to have eight hands.

I'm sure everyone will be looking forward to your return, but take some time to recharge. You've certainly earned it!
