Hi - couple of NWN2 gameplay questions around items.
First, I get a little confused when an item has an Attack Bonus and an Enhancement Bonus. So say a weapon has attack bonus +4 and enhancement bonus +3. What in the world is the effect on Attack Bonus and Damage? Do they add up, overlap, etc?
Second, on armor properties. My understanding is that you only get one item that has each armor "type" (only one natural, only one deflection, only one armor, etc) except for dodge. But what if one item is +3 deflection and another item is +4 deflection vs evil. If you are wearing both items and fighting an evil creature do you get +3 +4 = 7 deflection, or just the higher one?
Thanks!

Re: 2 Item-property related questions
Attack bonus is a bonus towards your attack roll only.
Enhancement bonus is a bonus to both attack roll and damage roll.
They do not stack, but they do take the highest of both values.
Ex:
+6 attack bonus
+4 enhancement bonus
Total modifier will be:
+6 to attack rolls and +4 to damage rolls
Same concept for your armor bonus question.
+3 deflection
+4 deflection vs evil
When fighting all non-evil enemies, you will have +3 deflection
When fighting evil enemies, you will have +4
Enhancement bonus is a bonus to both attack roll and damage roll.
