Allow for Dominating Yellow Name Mobs
The Dominate line of spells/invocations just don't work on yellow tag named mobs. It's an artificial implementation, where I assume it was made in order to prevent high DC "controllers" from doing what they are made to do.
But in this day and age, when most Areas are running the "final battle Boss script" where "...you hear commotion ahead..." and some enhanced mobs show up to whup ass—and many times they do so thank you for that!—yet, a Character that lives and breaths by dominating and manipulating mobs to "do their dirty work for them" get OOC throttled by a script.
Is there still some lingering concern that a Enchantment DC mage is going to abuse the situation by dominating a Boss and trolling other PCs? Isn't that ability more or less mitigated by the fact that dominated mobs cannot transition from Area to Area? Or, is it a lingering issue that an Enchanter would run to a Boss, dominate it, then drag it through an Area in order to grind?
From what I've seen both in front and behind the DM Client, the majority of Bosses has such high inflated Saves that dominating them is pretty much impossible. Not to forget to mention most even have Steadfast Determination, thus no possibility what-so-ever to fail a Save.
Yet, with the Enhanced Mobs script running, undoubtedly a Enchanter will run into many a situation where they BOOM! encounter this pack of Yell and Purple named mobs, and be helpless to utilize their actual #1 power, raison d'etre.
But please, I'm all ears to opinions why such an artificial script still needs to be in place, and willing to concede their continued necessity should a valid and factual argument be offered.
Else, please, consider removing this script and led the Dice determine the Fate of the outcome, instead of some 100% NO WAY JOSE situation.

the script is there for that reason so yea, not sure why the block on those mobs

I can imagine then that a solution might be to re-name actual Area Bosses in some way so that the Enhanced Mobs are not made Immune to Domination.
Though, I'm still asking for the complete removal of this OOC block to Domination of Bosses, since other schools are not limited this way in how far their spells go/affect mobs, AND, the whole "no Transitions" for any Dominated Mobs for prevention of Trolling.
Though, damn...wouldn't it be the best to Dominate a Troll and bring it for Lunch at the nearest Campfire?!?

Please make sure your PC is an Orc and that you advertise said event as a 'bake-sale' for server continuity. Is it still BG cannon that orcs are flowery bakers that give away free pastries at FAI?
Also, yeah nothing should be 'immune' to domination outside of enemies that make sense to either have access to Mind Blank or Protection from Good/Evil or are naturally immune to mind affecting by lore/rules. This isn't even a question about balance, it is a question about being effective with a specific build.
In a grander vision, the entire server would be rebalanced to allow for blasters and other archetypes to be viable, instead of certain build types not working due to the changes made to stop the builds that one shot things too quickly. There are definitely ways to build areas that challenge multiple build types without just beefing up HP pool and granting non-lore appropriate DR. However, considering the age of the server and availability of resources that would be a kind of unrealistic goal. Simply making Enchanters marginally useful/effective at what they do would seem to me to be a no brainer.

After giving this some consideration we'll change it for an upcoming update that yellow named monsters can be Dominated with half the normal duration (assuming they don't have an existing immunity to Mind Affecting spells as per the normal rules). I should be able to squeeze this in before the next update but I have make sure the script has a way to identify a yellow-name from a regular monster or make one for it if it doesn't already exist.

Yellow bosses are there for giving us a slight chance for awesome loot, not for being shown off on a leach ....
It is already super annoying to party with casters - who are collecting petrified bosses
