Duplicate NPCs in Baldur's Gate East District

Doing a round of weekly quests today I encountered several duplicate NPCs in the BG East Gate District. Some are quest givers, others are merchants, while some are just flavor NPCs.

This was encountered at about 14:00 GMT (server time).

a wizard could do it , there is a spell that can do it there onlt and tha tis 6 spell slots but more wizard can do it

Would the spell copy their scripts as well? Because all the duplicates are functioning properly for quests, and buying/selling, with duplicate merchants sharing the same inventory.
