5th Mirtul 1356

It is rumoured that a grey-clad woman, which some know as Linetheil, entered the Halls of Inner Lights one day on a rather deliberate step. Hours went past before the woman, now looking weary and pale, left the premises. It is said she declined, for one reason or another, the offer by Counsilor Alarielle to remain in the Halls until recovery, instead heading somewhere North of Baldur's Gate, using a simple white staff as a walking aid to her now dragging step.

Whispers of some manner of ethereal mist seen on the premises might pique the curiosity of what exactly took place.

9th of Mirtul 1356 DR

During the early evening two figures could be seen sitting on the floor of the gazebo in the gardens surronding the Halls. Recognizable as Adrian and Atria, the two were in good spirits as they played several games of dice, while sharing some laughs over their game. Occasionally those joyous tones would be broken by a muffled curse from the elven sailor — presumably as poor fortune befell her — though mirth quickly replaced the curses once more.

10th Mirtul 1356

Linetheil and the High Lady Alyssia Leonheart are seen departing the Eastern Farmlands. They make their way through the city, into the Halls of Inner Light, where they wander upstairs. There are whispers of a patient being a topic of concern, though no further words are exchanged further until they have made their way within the Sune's Office.

Image

Sometime later, the two emerge. The grey-clad woman is seen wandering through the Streets of Baldur's Gate with a woman bearing the symbols of Ilmater. They head towards the Sanctuary in the East Gate District.

Adrian returns back to the Halls of Inner Light early in the afternoon on this day of spring. Having been gone for nearly an hour, he quickly gathers a few sheets of paper, and some writing implements. It is with a somber expression on his features that he takes in the Festhall, and sips from a glass of orange juice, pondering his next move.

Half an hour passes, before he finally lets out a sigh, and mutters to himself.

"It has b-been a long time since I have w-written back home."

He then sets to the task at hand, penning a lengthy letter. Hours later he finally finishes, the afternoon now turning to early evening. With a hurried step he leaves the halls to find a courier, who can deliver the letter to its destination, with all possible haste. The destination? Mirabar.

A lone figure enters the Halls, making a straight line for the shrine of Selune. After some moments kneeling in prayer, she rises, leaving behind a small bottle of milk, a perfectly cut and polished moonstone, and a thin length of silver chain, just long enough to go around one's wrist. Before she departs the building, however, she pauses to leave a sealed scroll for the High Lady.

Liquid Courage

Today a Tale begins, of a Commoner named Joel, who never gave his name to anyone, as he moseyed about the Palace District, blindfolded and considered a lost drunk, for he had a tankard through-out his time spent outside and inside any establishment today.

Taking a brief stand still on a garden, he began pouring a large swig into his mouth, as he basked in the Sunlight.

Image

He spent a good hour standing around, fidgeting nervously, distracting himself with more Ale, only to rub at his own shoulders relentlessly as he did so.
His gaze lingered on multiple buildings, acting suspiciously shifty and impatient, as he drank away, keeping too himself.

Eventually, he made his move, heading towards the Hall of Inner Light, he stood before the sign for a while, pressing a flat palm to it as he drank.
The Man found himself staring up to the Halls here and there, lingering peculiarly before the building, antsy and anxious about it, he lowered his head, shuffling as quietly as he could manage into the building itself.

Image

Once inside, he gave a stiff, awkward nod to each of the Guards posted inside, he stood awkwardly before Daven, for a good few minutes, taking his time to muster up a question, as he rubbed at his right sleeve.

In the end, he spoke up, asking where he might find Selune's Altar within the Halls.

Image

However Daven managed an answer the scene, he found himself stood before the plaque, notably keeping a rather ridiculous amount of distance away from it, and never once noted as having touched it. He stood besides the staircase, rubbing at his left eye under the blindfold.

Image

He stayed inside the Halls, idling about, for as long as he was allowed too.

Anyone could approach Joel at anytime and strike up a conversation, should they choose...

Dear heavens, everyone looked hauntingly beautiful to the worker that was Finn. After a brief wait, Lady Alyssia came in person. Finn offered his skills as a worker in regards to what needed done for the remodelling that was mentioned a tenday before at the camp outside Baldur's Gate.

It appeared as if she hovered over the temple's floor in her gorgeous clothing. Finn did not know where to look at all. The stone floor seemed a good place to stare...

Lady Alyssia took the young man downstairs and explained what needed to be done, and so, the young man went to work without delay.

Bottles, kegs, flasks and all manner of tankards, glasses and stein, were packed and taken to the kitchen. The man made it a point to put the boxes in a logical order, with glass not higher than a third tier of boxes and ensuring the boxes all were labelled with their contents.

The man then resolved to bring his tools to work, carefully disassemble the entire bar piece by piece. As per instruction, he brought planks to rest on ground in length, not against any walls. Sofa's were carefully slid to centre of the festhall, forming an orderly cube.

Tables and chairs were placed alongside the disassembled bar as per Alyssia's instruction. By now the man was breaking a sweat and wiped his brow. After seeing to hydrate himself with water, he went to take off the braziers from the walls as Lady Alyssia instructed, including the three tiered one.

it is said that the man worked akin an Oxen with dedication to his work. Not a single groan or moan did clamor from him in complaint. After ensuring he left his working place neat and clean, he left word with the guards at the door that his tasks for the day had been completed and awaited her review at her behest.

And with that, the man left to seek out a chance to wash himself, shirt opened just a tad too much and intricate Woad tattoo-patterns plain visible, he sauntered off.

In the late days of Alturiak, a robed beggar finds her way to the infirmary. A basket in hand, she kneels near a wounded man. For several hours, poultices and herbal preprations leave the scent of flowers and plants invade the small room, with the kind help of several visitors. Quiet prayers, murmurs and conversation have been heard, while she tended the wounded man. Sparkling magic was shimmering around him. The man might have even been sitting on the edge of his bed, although persevering bravely against dire pain.

As she left, sheets had been changed, and bandages renewed. A few leaves on bare skin, the man has been left sleeping, under the watch of another wooded woman. The fragrance of chamomille lingers in the room, promising relief.

The kitchen in the Halls would constantly be busy over the days, scents and smells fills the halls of fresh bread, much more then normal stock, cheeses cut, pork smoked in an oven, these would be packed away into crates to become Food Rations. Empty barrels line the Prayer Hall, filled occasionally by Levtari, as all the Priestesses of the Halls would be summoned daily to create as much holy water as they can, first creating the water, and then blessing it in barrels. The preistesses would kindly deflect any questions of the activities to members outside the Halls and direct them to the High Lady.

The High Lady would spend considerable time walking and listening into conversations throughout the various districts of Baulder's Gate. Hoping to overhear a common thread of what troubles the populace and has them ever so tense. She contemplates these things every morning with her morning rituals before returning to the streets to listen in on the citizenry.

The High Lady spends time discussing with the hin Priestess Lily, about Sheela, and rituals for harvest.

She then retires to the Library, and the Joybringer's office researching something about freeing rituals.

Rumors spread throughout the parishioners of the Halls that the High Lady has once again summoned Michi, the White Rose, and gave her a quest to find another celestial. Once given the task, Alyssia opens the portal and Michi steps through, missive in hand for a far off and powerful creature of goodly kind.

Unsigned wooden box was delivered to the Halls of Inner Light. It was made unmistakably from cherry wood and it wasn't bigger than a standard delivery crate. Its content visible trough cracks between the planks reveals a book bound in black leather, titled "Tradition of Darkness" and worn out black hat adorned with steel buckle.
