Fallen Adventure Not Undead
The ghostly version of the fallen adventurer in the fields of the dead is not being counted as undead for the purposes of damage bonuses vs. undead. Bless Weapon does not give the magic bonus damage when you hit these guys.

Re: Fallen Adventure Not Undead
Well, I still think that anything which targets undead should affect ghosts. Did they ever tweak turn undead? I haven't tried to turn them.
Could it be possible to adjust bless weapon to affect incorporeal? I mean, they're ghosts, they should be affected by things which affect undead.
Are there any incorporeal enemies which aren't also undead? If not, why not tweak all undead-targetting abilities to also include incorporeal?

Re: Fallen Adventure Not Undead
Not all incorporeal monsters belong to undead; some magical beast and fey monsters are incorporeal. (see: Creatures with the incorporeal subtype)
But some undead monsters are incorporeal, such as banshees and ghosts. (see: Undead)
My suggestions is to designate the creatures listed in the Undead page above undead subtype instead of incorporeal.

well, undead happens to be both a race and a class, so you can have both but im pretty sure turn undead only affects the race tho i cant remember for sure

Clerics have a million other mobs for their abilities to work on. Spirit shaman doesn't. I'd rather keep incorporeal things incorporeal, not undead.
However, are there any of those magical beast and fey monsters available in NWN2? If not, then it might not hurt to make cleric abilities affect incorporeal too.

Agreed. Spirit shaman should be able to affect incorporeal undead.Rhifox wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2020 6:44 pmClerics have a million other mobs for their abilities to work on. Spirit shaman doesn't. I'd rather keep incorporeal things incorporeal, not undead.

Not sure about whether other incorporeal type mobs aside from undead exist in BGTSCC. But to avoid future confusion and lore-breaking moments, I still stand with my original suggestion, but with the modification of flagging incorporeal undead being able to be affected by spirit shaman's ability. Since the number of incorporeal undead is rather small, this should be a rather small fix. Allowing Turn Undead to affect Incorporeal type mobs might break the lore in cases when new incorporeal mobs were to be introduced in the future.

Re: Fallen Adventure Not Undead
They can only be one or the other in NWN2, not both. So for this to work would require creating a third type, Incorporeal Undead, which both cleric and SS can affect, and then assigning that to the mobs in question. I do not know if this is possible, or if the types are hardcoded.realayer wrote: ↑Sun Jun 14, 2020 8:20 pm But to avoid future confusion and lore-breaking moments, I still stand with my original suggestion, but with the modification of flagging incorporeal undead being able to be affected by spirit shaman's ability.
