A burly Untheric soldier by name of Baruk makes it known about the Friendly Arm that he is in the market for a suit of mithral full plate as well as a ring of enhanced agility.

The soldier bids those who would deign to extend an offer send word direct or leave a message with Bentley Mirrorshade at the inn.

The flowing red robes of a Red Wizard of Thay make Khali as she enters the Friendly Arms Inn. Upon hearing of the soldier's request, she writes a short and sweet letter, leaving it with Bentley for Baruk to read.

Baruk leaves a private missive for Magus Khali, the rolled parchment secured by wax seal bearing symbol of fist over sun upon diamond.

Baruk advises Bentley that he no longer seeks the suit of mithral armor, and instead makes it known that his interest is now focused solely on a ring of enhanced agility.

Receiving no offers at the Friendly Arm, Baruk travels south and takes up residency in Beregost, where he again makes it known about town that he seeks a ring of greater agility.

After weeks of searching, and with the help of a mysterious benefactor, the Untheric soldier at last obtains the ring he sought and experiences a slight enhancement to his ability at dodging blows.

With purchase of new armor and ring complete, Baruk ends his residency in Beregost and points his boots toward Nashkell, where rumors claim that abundant plunder awaits in the mines below.
