Over several months the White Mask Theater, creative hub for the artistically like-minded, has seen increased activity;
though rarely mentioned in casual conversation and slow steeped in rumor for what has become standard observation.
New faces, however, are seen to grace the stage, earning a place within theater ranks and a joyous welcome for
talented members ranging from maidens to the muscled, and heroes, self-proclaimed.
As the month of Eleint drew to it's end, the White Mask Theater did ensure one of its oldest traditions was kept alive
in the midst of fiendish warfare, or, perhaps, in spite of it. Double doors thrown wide in welcome did draw the
inspired public to craft and create that which resonated in echo of "change" and, just so, thematically titled. Hostess
for the eve's Open Stage Night was the gossamer-clad assistant director, Oona Siofra.
Though the evening proved to be a a grand success, it was not without its own unusual turn of events. Several patrons
did claim to see a ghostly figure displaced from the auditorium's shadows at poignant intervals, leaving witnesses to
question and speculate over the possibility of the theater being haunted.
Whispers hint at a curiosity grand in the making, an evening event by estimation, and breathtaking.
Props, coming and going in preparation, are artfully desaturated ▬ the bells of masks carried: ringing, liberated.
What reason? What cause? Eyes set on double doors, dedicated to cause, surmise "It must be a ball!"
The finer details have yet to be released, though flyers later distributed bequeath a faint idea.

Four nights will quickly dream away the time." ― William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream
Behold; a mask hath tricked thy sight!
Fooling thee with exquisite grimace:
On the reverse, proper vision: a face.
Fiercely affected, true self revealed
before thine eyes whence prior concealed

A palette parade, decadent woven in all shapes and sizes; tenday's end drew the eclectically dressed and masked
en masse unto the theater wherein White and Black, the Masquerade's theme, saw opposites colliding on a sea of
sateen. Aught of performance by lyre, lute and violin strings imbued each spin with melodic acclaim, beating
hearts and ballroom steps, bringing together both the familiar, and those unmet. Cadence high reaching unto
ceiling, a glorious evening with cheer far-reaching, aught of artful auditorium was undoubtful alive and
creatively thriving.

From troupe's exit the Director did step, abreast with a smile and hum melodic. Set upon the pillar nearest, the parchment's
advertisement attracts an ebon gaze given way to a sigh and the roll of eyes in deny of the negative.
"Marie..." the accusation murmured under breath does stress amused enunciation. Ashen lips twist amidst observation; a theme
by request, yes, at the behest of an all encompassing audience. Charcoal plucked from pocket sees the heart's crack covered
with black and whole again made, framed by flowers and a border delicate. Below theme's interpretation, left intact, an
alternative is offered in script flowing: alongside the melodies of love's devotion. This one, at least, is made a little sweeter.
To theater's door is affixed an announcement, from where ripples rumor and gossip.
Here it remains for several days until the season's elements claim it.
Marked this day, Alturiak 17 1356DR, may it be known that
MARIETTA STARLING
has been revoked of her membership with the Performers Guild
and is no longer associated with the White Mask Theater.
Adrift from the stage within, melodies and revelry have been witnessed as consistent emittance in present
evenings - the most recent of which was resultant in wringing fabric, when a water fight broke out under guise
of 'cleaning'. Hopeful faces and auditions aplenty have seen an increase in theater's carousing; with several
new faces named and made welcome among the troupe's number.
With preparations already underway for the next open stage, the artful menage is said to be in high spirits.

Four nights will quickly dream away the time." ― William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night's Dream
Recent deliveries to the theater have come in varied shapes and sizes; stagehands in witness are seen between
auditorium and farmlands, Northern, carrying all manner of materials from caravans paused in their southbound
journey. Striped fabric, boards of lumber, metal scrap and cloth of all colors hint at some ambitious project in
its early stages. If and when queried, aught of a response is simple said: "Wait and see!"

DM Ink: The sounds of violin can be heard throughout the White Mask theater.
Earlier in the day, closer the Coast's morn hours and prior the waking minority's engage of activity therein, aught
of the silence, expected, was disrupted by the soulful melody of violin strings. An auditorium ghostly aglow
and beholden to figure, the witness of stage's imagery dissipated with the incursion of light's lever.
A conversation between the Director and theater's custodian, Karl, lasted a short while in the aftermath.
