Concentration vs Taunt

Hi Folks!

Been scouring the interwebs and forum, and haven't been able to find an answer. The Concentration skill states "A character may also take a concentration check to avoid the effects of the taunt skill", my query is - would it be useful to take concentration as a skill to avoid the effects of taunt in PvE scenarios? DO mobs use taunt? Would concentration help me to stay focused and take down the enemy I want to eliminate first? Any insight appreciated.

Some mobs use taunt but it's a will save, nothing to do with concentration to my knowledge.
