At Winding Way Tavern, an armored woman with a cloak of Ilmater introduces herself to Mag and asks her if she wishes to talk to her she will be around town the following tendays.

The Blackrose Soldiers would be dispatched with purpose throughout Soubar. They would maintain order in the midst of this so called Mayor elections.
Any of those that would cause disorder and chaos would be thrown out of Soubar.

*Asgar puts up his own thing on this whole shenanigans.* This illmatar woman has repeatedly called every one of you good people vile. Evil. And not worth their time. Time and time again they would let you starve. Simply because they think of you as a plague. When a portal was opened allowing easy travel and supply routes to the gate who was it that took that down. Oh right this same twat. How many times has she been here supplying food or clearing the roads like I do.....none. In fact when they do show up their actions only keep you down further.

If any one should be a "mayor" it should be Sir Amos. Hes the one thats been here for you. He lies in the trenches for you. And he doesn't pretend to worship a god like this illmater woman who only causes more suffering instead of curing it.

An extremely fancily clad individual wearing countless symbols of Bane on his person and sporting some glorious facial hair approaches the board and looks over the most recent postings before letting out a hearty laugh and making a slight face-palm.

“Well suppose I’ll begin my own campaign for King of the Gate as well...”

He walks off back to his daily routine of meeting with various denizens of the tent-town, deciding to let them continue to have their fun.

A druid that looks and smells like a hippy gives the armored guy a wolf pelt if he comes by.

Shortly after the rumours begin, Vaelen Derringer announces his intent to run as a candidate in the first Soubar Mayoral election.

Short notices are posted about the village, written in several languages for the literate among the denizens.

"A vote for Vaelen is a vote for a free and prosperous Soubar"

A few henchmen stick around and inform passers-by and citizens alike that a platform will soon be announced by Mr. Derringer...

Maze stops by noticeing the small gathering and new posting upon the board, skimming over then as deep frown lines form across her face. Her gaze turning back to those left behind with a ' I dare you to stop me look' Maze then forceably removed this message and any following messages attached or of the same subject. Crumples them into a ball of scroll then throws it into the near by fire. "remind the 'trade master' who he represents in name and reputation, with childish remarks like this. " She said simply to the pair standing there before returning to her routeine around soubar.

The henchmen, not soldiers by the look of them, allow the irate woman to carry on with her vandalism and censorship, unhindered.

They exchange a puzzled look, then shrug, chuckling to themselves.

The flyers are replaced after Makenzie leaves.

The nutty druid, posters or not, can still be seen at his tent doing his 'anticampaign'. Mostly just aimed at the false paladin.

Having heard the recent rumors the Lord Captain himself escorted by two of his Mercenaries approaches these mayoral postings. He let's loose a mild burst of laughter at one candidate's flyer in paticular "So the Unstable, the Ignorant, and Vaelen eh. He motions to his two escorting guards The thought of this campaign amuses me. See to it that their filters are undisturbed. With the orders given the men salute and the lord Captain returns to his fortress chuckling quietly to him self the way there.

A group of jubilant adventurers from Baldurs Gate, led by a silvered haired man and woman duo, were recently spotted passing through Boareskyr in route to the Serpent Hills to allegedly slay a dragon. To date there is has been no sightings of these adventurers ever returning from their quest.

A motley crew of three appeared in Soubar this evening, though did not stay for long. One, a redhead dressed in blue jacket and boots with ludicrously high heels, spoke briefly with a lycan couple. Another redhead, this one with small horns upon her head, did the same, though the third in their party stood stoically by in silence, his perfect hair scarcely moving in the light breeze. As quickly as they had arrived they departed, heading off in search of...something.
