Hello brave soul !
Prestige class requirements are located in cls_pres_*.2da files, no need to kill yourself parsing the TLK file. However there are some custom PRCs with unusual requirements that will still require some hacky special treatments ... such as Archmage or Hierophant.

Thank you! Archmage and Heirophant did indeed require hackiness as you predicted. Honestly I haven't worked on the character builder much (and I have my babies climbing all over me as I write this), but will have more time in July. Got most of the prestige classes populating when prereqs are met, and after that I have to parse the class abilities of prestige classes (I have base classes done). I'll post another update in July.

I promised an update in July, so at the moment prestige classes prereqs are finished (minus some small details, but for the most part finished), parsing prestige class abilities is boring, they are being entered and I also have most of them partially parsed. Well, this month RL happened not in a way I was hoping, and my main hobby: playing and contributing to BG, had to be mostly shelved for a large portion of it, but things are OK and back to normal now. I expect to have more to report half way through August, and will continue updating this beautiful community, mainly because it keeps the fire lit under my arse.
EDIT: I should add that I had fun doing the logic parts and making the app in general, I saved the boring part till now. There are improvements I plan to make once the thing can be used, which will also be more fun than this part. Also, if anyone is interested in volunteering some time I can give an example of the structure of the text that I need and it would be just a data entry thing. As I said I have most of the data in a file partially parsed so it would just be pushing characters around (parsing) into the structure I've adopted
