Hey! It would be cool if wearable magic items whose power is supposed to only be useable when wearing it had the power dispelled on unequip.

E.g. Boots of Speed dispel Haste on unequip.
Cloak of Displacement dispels Displacement on unequip .

I feel like you can pretty much get unlimited magic powers by hoarding these items without paying any price (i.e. an item slot).

I already have the ability to cast the 9th level spell Etherealness 3/day and could easily get Haste 9/day and Displacement 9/day with a couple more items.

Sure you can do the same with wands, but at least you need to invest in UMD a little and pay to recharge them.

What does everyone think? Would it annoy you if these items became less useful?
