I'm basing a build off of this one by maverick but picking TWF as a class ability and generally picking other feats. I'm wondering if there's any point in raising WIS a bit and picking practiced spellcaster to help with getting disspelled? Or is the DC going to be too low for this server in any case?
I really question if what you get from Black Fame Zealot is worth losing Ranger 21 (free PTWF regardless of DEX and access to Bane of Enemies).
Ranger 21/Assassin 9 is a common enough split, or R22/A8 which gets you CL26 Ranger with PSC, Black Flame Zealot 7 (which is by the way called Darkfire Disciple on this server) adds fear immunity, 2d6 extra sneak attack dice and 1/day dimension door at the cost of stopping with GTWF and losing Bane of Enemies access, not to mention the R15 and 20 favored enemies. The general trick with Ranger/Assassin is you make sure anything crit immune is on your FE list. That way against most enemies you have HiPS and 4 or 5d6 death attack dice, but with FE: Undead, Construct, Dragons and outsiders you basically will always have either 4/5d6 death attack or 2d6 + 5 damage (4d6 = ~14 vs. 2d6+5 = ~12).
As to your question about practiced caster, I would not worry about your DC as Ranger isn't really a DC caster so much as a buffer. Definitely worth the buffs, but not sure if you would want to burn a feat on practiced caster vs. just using HiPS to try and dodge dispels.
Obviously play what you want, but with R14/A9/DfD7 I think you will be quite frustrated when facing crit immune enemies since 7d6 sneak dice is useless when you do not have epic precision. On top of this, without bane of enemies you aren't going to have a lot of non-sneak damage so overall I think you might be underwhelmed.
One other thought to consider would be to look in to going Ranger 21/ Cavestalker 9 if you want a PRC to add. (only works if you play a race that gets darkvision, or if you get 19 DEX and take Shadow Dancer). Other splits that work well is R26/CS4 or R23/CS7 (though you only gain one epic feat and lose blindfight and perma 8% displacement so in general I recommend either R26/CS4 or R21/CS9).
