It is rumored, among those that have worked or spoken with the Rocky Creek Company, and perhaps among those in busy markets coast-wide, that the folks in Greenest are now buying wolf pelts for 35 coins each, until a recent order is filled.

Thirty five gold coin for each wolf pelt, in addition to prices paid for meat, if delivered together.

It seems that a handful of hunters and local adventurers have dispersed and have begun to fill this order already.

Jackard is no longer purchasing pelts from buyers at large.

Jackard ensures that all posted signs are legible and refreshes those that have been torn or worn. He has a pouch of scrolls at his side that he will pass out to passers-by when on business, keen to provide them to hunters and those seeking work.

Additional signs are put up, along message boards but also in the Shelf of Many Books, and (if permission granted) at Sorcerous Sundries and among merchants of the Wide.

While still doing a side business in gathered meats, fish, pelts, plants, and various other goods (books among them), the men of Rocky Creek have met with such great success through their caravan trade that such deals are now made only on contract, and it is said to be more of a courtesy for previous retainers than a pursued line of business.

If you wish to be paid for such goods, a contract is required. Seek Jackard Marks at Orniff's in Greenest if such work is on interest.

Jackard Marks has been seen around the Friendly Arm Inn, the Gate, as well as within his home of Greenest speaking with freshly arrived adventurers and veterans alike, striking procurement and trade deals. He was witnessed by one pair along the Chionthar, his horse nearly overloaded with bags of spider mandibles he had purchased in far off Soubar.

Those interested in working short-term and one-time contracts for procurement can find Jackard by asking around, anywhere swift commerce is found.

A flourish of activity has kept Jackard busy with work connecting (and reconnecting) with hunters and adventurers alike. Meats, plants, fish, and even exotic goods like spider mandibles are all in high demand. Those that are clued in to such things may have heard rumors that he is now seeking the hearts of monstrous creatures called 'gibberlings'. Whether it is true or not, it certainly fits with his business model.

In addition to the goods listed above, it is rumored that Jackard has been buying gems in bulk. To what end, it is not said, but the Rocky Creek fliers he distributes among the adventuring folk have been updated to reflect his new endeavor.

Rocky Creek has made contact with several of their regular associates, and made it known to others in local mercantile circles, that in addition to cut and polished gems, they are actively seeking ores with gem inclusions, and paying for information that leads to any founded gem mines.

Fresh signs are posted in Greenest as a reminder that Rocky Creek, perhaps best known for paying handsome prices for most gems, also pays well for many plants, fish, meats, and other animal byproducts.

Aside from an abnormally brisk tenday in gem trade, Rocky Creek has seen a surge in activity related to plant and animal products. Between new loads delivered, and hunters and gatherers dispatched in pursuit of more, business booms for Rocky Creek's trade.

Jackard is still purchasing goods as indicated on their signage, and work is available for groups or individuals seeking coin.

As per his usual routine, Jackard is sure to straighten, tidy, and replace the various notes and notices he has hung on bulletin boards, doors, and friendly establishments.

While focused primarily on the construction of their caravan waystation, business trudges on within the mundane realms of plant and animal byproducts.

The various notices and ads, distributed where commerce is done throughout the coast - from the hamlet of Greenest, to the outpost of the Friendly Arm Inn, and from the noticeboards in Nashkel to The Wide of Baldur's Gate - have been updated.

Rocky Creek continues to retain hunters and other woodsfolk for the collection of various flora and fauna. Rates for each item are below. It is preferred that an arrangement is made beforehand, but all deals will be considered:

Books of all types are of interest for the company, but of particular interest are those that contain previously lost, or esoteric, content. ((at this point, book purchases are generally limited to non-name dusty tomes))

Music is a new source of trade for the company, with few trades made but many coins being traded in those instances. While this fruit may soon wither on the vine, Rocky Creek hopes to turn things around ((paying for original TKL Performer scores))

In addition, Jackard is oft-seen in The Wide, the farmlands near the Gate, Greenest, and the Friendly Arm, eagerly buying gems. While his interest is primarily focused on the gems in the mid-to-upper range - Alexandrite, Kunzite, Topaz, Fire Opal, Sapphire, Emerald and the like - he will make offers on nearly any gem or collection.

Ads are placed at various hubs of business, especially near fresh water fishing markets. The Wide in Baldur's Gate, Ulgoth's Beard, Greenest, and Beregost, among others.
