The elf, while small in stature and not exactly possessing the large muscles that most of the knights have, goes along and aids in moving some of the less heavier items in the cleaning up. Silvery hair is pulled up and she becomes quite the dirty mess during the hard work but seems to be rather cheery about it. Light laughter and a smile is often on her lips as she hums along with some of the working tunes that she hears throughout the day.

Back at the keep she partakes in the celebration of welcoming back her brothers and sisters in arms. She shares in the laughter and tales as they feast on the meal that Stella and her kitchen workers prepared. Having bothered Nathan a few days ahead of time, she introduced and shared the bubbly pies, rolling her eyes playfully at those that didn't care for it and growing excited and babbling even more about the pies with those that enjoyed them. All seemed right and well again, their worries and the work for upcoming matters are put aside for a night.

To her scouts she notified them that they would have a day off and then training would pick right up again.

There was light laughter on the pale elf's lips as she stepped to the gate of the Chapter House she called home. Today had been a day filled not just with the daily tasks of drills, paperwork, patrols, and then secretly stepping into the shadows. Away from the eyes of all but the most observant she slipped a few coins into the pockets of a few in the slums. Today there had been jokes and laughter shared with others adding to a joy that had her soul dancing far away from the deeper shadows that were always there ready to embrace her once more. Some of the new arrivals to the Coast, she found quite enjoyable getting to know. There were still those who made her inwardly cringe, there always would be, but she was finding most to be good people; a term the Grand Knight seemed to use. Some of them were becoming to feel like family, the halfling she would certainly place in that category.

As the gate opened, a letter laid there on the ground and caught her eye. The elven script of her name peeked her curiosity, bending down she scooped it up as she stepped in and shut the gate behind her. Wintery blues scanned over the contents of the letter and she tilted her head a moment a look of surprise on her face then a slow smile came to her lips. "Well, it seems the mark on the belt didn't completely offend this one. It would appear, feet, we will be traveling north for a celebration... what shall we wear?" She was going to need to purchase some fabric tomorrow.

The elf tucked the letter away into a small magical pouch at her hip and slipped inside making her way to the bath and then she could perhaps offer a rematch of a game of lancing to the defeated Knight. If he could be beat a second time... was yet to be determined.

A letter is left with the gate guard at the Radiant Heart chapterhouse.
To the Order of the Radiant Heart of Baldur's Gate,

I hope that you all fare well these days. I am Tarina, the woman you sheltered some months ago in the chapterhouse, during the aggressions of the Night Serpent spirit in this region. I write this letter as the thanks I could not give while I was incapacitated from its possession. I only woke up some few weeks ago and remember little of that time, but I have been told I was kept at your chapterhouse for a time to restrain me from acting out the whims of the thing in my head. It is possible that, had I not been under your care, I may have met the same fate as befell other victims of the spirit, or done worse than I had already done.

So, I thank you for your help during that time. If there is any service or payment expected of me, please let me know.

Regards,
Tarina

(( I just wanted to give an update to the plot from a few months ago, since I ended up going on break from the game for awhile because of my character's mental state at the time didn't allow me to do much in-game. As you guys were hosting my character, I felt it important to keep you all in the loop. I've talked with Sean and Aaron about what might have happened with Tarina, and the idea was that she would have been eventually transferred out of the chapterhouse to another temple where more longterm care could be given. I decided on the Healing House of Lathander in Scornubel, as it was relatively near BG but not an in-game area.

Thanks for the RP we had during that time, even if Tarina probably wasn't much fun while she was off in lala land. :) ))

The elf stepped out of the Chapter House and stepped over to her horse, fishing a carrot out for Horseshoe and a second one for Rook, as he also demanded her attention being that his master was not yet there to spoil him. Light laughter bubbled from her as she greeted them both trying her best to give them equal attention as they attempted to bump the other one out of the way. Sometimes, she mused to herself, they acted more like dogs rather than horses.

Taking her leave from the attention demanding horses, she stepped over to the man at arms and quietly spoke with him. Twice the portal had been opened in the graveyard so close to their gates. They exchanged information and she spoke to him about making sure an increase of step patrols in that direction. To one of the scouts as well as to Adrie and Nigel, she also encouraged a rotation of patrols there as well as the fields of the dead. Not always to be seen, but to observe and looking for increased activity or out of their normal shuffling pattern.

Afterwards she slipped off to seek further information on the notes that had been shared with her. This should prove to be an interesting task indeed.

The voice in her feet whispered quietly... "step carefully, chyfii, my little elf."

She sighed and gave a small nod of her head as she stepped out of the gates. "As carefully as I can, Sunathar."

Boots exited the gate and was almost run into by Emmanuel flying at her.. shouting about anit magic room... shards.. and Balors. The elf took off running, throwing the gates and the doors open as they sprinted inside... reaching the room.. to find.. .the shards had gotten away from him somehow.

They sprinted out of the Keep and into the Gate... shouting Balors... Darius estate.. aid now!

`````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
The elf bursts back out of the city and sprinted as fast as she could... silvery white hair and cloak fluttering behind her. She flew until she ran into two dwarves.. a magic warded containment field surrounding items that were quickly handed off to the elf... and once more she sprinted inside the Keep...
The guards around the Keep double.. in their watch, keeping a look out for further trouble.
A letter is handed to the Grand Knight by a Flaming Fist Sergeant, while transporting goods.
"We've food to be distributed shortly, if you or your resources have storage and later distribution methods, we would be grateful."
A letter is returned to the Flaming Fist Castle in the city
Lieutenant Nails
The Order has storage space to store the food and other goods. Should the pantry and other storage not be enough to hold it, we can make the necessary room. As to distribution, we can certainly set up either just outside of our gates to help with distribution to the farmers and those living just outside the walls, or can move the food to a location within the city to help.
Should the food begin to arrive at the Radiant Heart Keep, and the normally available space be insufficient to hold what is brought, less frequented rooms and the hall ways would become storage spaces for crates of food.
Squire Avery's routine is a little shaken up this week; she moves quicker through her usual cleaning and upkeep of the laboratory and infirmary, and her patrol routes have taken her into the wilderness along the Chionthar river. The Tamaran Cleric takes a bag full of an interesting lunch each time; bagfulls of strawberries, blackberries, and chicken eggs, and always returns without them.
Nigel watches Avery clean as fast as humanly possible. Packing a lunch enough for two or three people. The ranger raises that thick brow of his as he contemplates two things ;
1- there’s chores here? Did he had chores? Who had been doing his if he had. And more importantly how he hasn’t been assigned anything. Maybe command recognize his tremendous potential as the lead Ranger here and best archer and didn’t want to squander his time with medial chores.
2- By the Forrest Queen’s flowers! Avery is expecting a baby! That’s why she’s sneaking away to eat! Oh the scandals people will talk
With that Nigel slipped out the shadows and out the back of the keep. So he doesn’t get snagged for any cleaning details.
The Grand Knight digs through his storage inside the Keep. His searching nets him a few green colored gems, along with a couple of large diamonds, all found while out on his patrols. Placing the Alexandrites, Aventurines, and Diamonds in to a gem pouch, he turns and makes for the front gate. There he meets with Squire Avery, who carries her usual care package of food stuffs for the two little Fairy Dragons, and Warden Vanira, who reluctantly slips in a gem or two (Though no one would see) in to the pouch of other gems. Tivex's favorite foods and some of his favorite gems are carried outside the gates.
As the three travel down the road towards the paths branching off towards the East of the Chionthar River, they come across Blake Hightower, who has a similar idea, carrying with him a few gems of his own to offer to the growing hoard of the two young parent dragons. The four then make their way off the beaten paths and in to the clearing area that houses the cave the dragons made their nest in.
Carefully they enter the portal in to the "Mighty" dragon's nest and approach Tivex, perched in front of his nest, guarding his mate and eggs. The gifts of food and gems are offered to the little dragon. Before leaving the inquire some about his eggs, hunting, and how his mate is faring.
It finally happened.
Avery did something that earned a few laps carrying 'Seans Rock' around the yard. A few guards, warhorses, and a patch-pony named 'Piglet' looked on with pity at the scrawny cleric who struggled through the task.
Up on the stout watchtower the Radiant Scout watched the tiny Cleric run her set of laps. He then slid down the ladder and walked towards the well and retrieved a cool bucket of water and poured a nice tall bowl of water. As the cleric finished he dumped the bucket on her.
“Believe me … it helps”
As he then handed her the wooden bowl of cool water.
There goes lunch….
The Radiant Scout read the newest report posted by Squire Elle Avery as he was half way through a bacon sandwich. Thick with freshly pan cooked bacon slabs in a fresh crusty bread baked that morning. On top was a light slathering of sweet onion jam.
He sat at the Messhall looking at reports when he turned green.
“ Oh Bloody Hells Avery!! What sort of bloody diabolical report is this? Fer all that’s good and holy… put a bloody warning on the top paragraph”
And into the bin. A delicious eaten half sandwich went.
Bi-daily, The Heartwarder arrives at the gates of the Chapterhouse in the Eastern Farmlands, carrying with her a basket of delicious smelling pies, steam waifs from the basket in the early cool morning, and is handed over to the guard. The note attached with a red ribbon addresses it to "Captain V."
The guard makes sure to send the pie into the chapter house posthaste, knowing very well the pie devouring habits of the small elf of shadows.
Within the keep the elf, struggles to figure out how to eat the bubbly pie and not get the gooey goodness of the sweet treat on the books that are opened and scattered around her on the floor of the library. A content expression comes to her face, temporary as it might be, before she gets fully back to her research.
