100% RCR period

I get that the RcR is immediately upon us in relative turns and this is asking for a lot but would a mule bot in the nexus be plausible? I'm thinking of something that automatically takes all items from inventory and stores them (up to 1 PC inventory limit of items), ready to give them back on command to the same player. Well, just an idea I had.

I recall that you could 100% safely transfer items through bank system by using disguise mechanics and changing name through it - is it no longer the case?
It worked well when I was playing here around 2 years ago.

You can still safely transfer items through the bank system, you just don't need disguise (and I don't think disguise works anymore). As long as your recreated character has the exact same name, you'll still have access to your storage and horse.

Only if you recreate with the same name on the same reset period. RCR your character, wait for the server to reset, then recreate with the same name. That's the most reliable way of RCRing.

I mean there used to be a system (with disguise) where you could transfer items to a bank of character in your vault by disguising as the character with matching name.

This way you didn't have to wait for restarts AND it was 100% reliable from what I recall. Maybe we could allow players to do it again in RCR peroid?

You'd also need a method to return to starting location to access RCR npc but I'm guessing that shouldn't be overly problematic to code. Alternatively place bank npc in starting location.

the disguise system was never 100% reliable and often caused issues with names, especially if there was a reset while you were disguised you could end up accidentally permanently changing a characters name.

Best way to RCR in my experience has always been with someone else helping to hold items and gold for you

No - and from what I understood it will be available only after the server split which has no set date yet.
We need a bit more patience.

Wow anyone see that server split? Amazing. That thing looked good to me. I mean it was, like, practically flawless. And no I am not being sarcastic I am being serious.
Soooo uh maybe we should get this RCR thing, I am sure its no biggy, going now before they do the split and thigs get potentially a little wonky? Since we now know its just a few small kinks away maybe getting it done while things are really stable so everything is done at the split would be better? Doesn't that make more sense?

There are a lot of things that we as players may or may not see "under the hood." I'd rather give the dev team the time to get everything right to their satisfaction rather than rush things out and have a potentially bigger mess on our hands just to get a free RCR ahead of time.

It'll happen, so let's just be patient and wait for them to green light it.

Thats what I am saying...let the devs work on the split. Make the RCR at our own risk but do it now before the split goes live since it is close so after the split they dont even have to worry about it. We know everything is stable now. Why not do the RCR now so the devs wont have to worry about it at all and they can focus on split stability after.

When I say "keep calm, the RCR is coming" I mean that. Staff member, member of the community and a player with limited time due to real world commitments to my family including a 9 month old and a 3 year old demanding my attention.

No one can say they want the rcr more than I, because I have several PCs that need to be tweaked because I goofed while distracted. Rcr is expensive (most of my PCs are wizards) . But the fact we have a 100% RCR coming is awesome.

No one has ever said you cannot RCR, it's because we all don't want to lose hours or days of gathering that precious XP because we want to tweak our PC.

Let us just keep calm and continue to enjoy the stories that are ever evolving not only in game , but here on the forums as well.
