I cannot seem to download the newest patch. It freezes at exactly the same spot. I am a returning player and was hoping to take a look around.

Maybe remove, and reinstall? That often does miracles.
But I'd need smarter people to help if that doesn't work, I fear.

I shall give it a shot. My only concern is I do not know if I still have my password for the account that was created. It's set to remember and I would be turbo sad if I couldn't get anything off the account. Before I uninstall would there be any way for staff to look at the account at all? I have no idea how that sort of stuff is archived.

This is the same person, I just found my old login info on the forums after I created an account to post the question.

There isn't actually a login used anymore as far as I know, it ties your login name to your cdkey, so your password shouldn't matter. Are you using the client extender? If not, consider it, as it does a number of things to help the game run better on modern systems, including increasing download speed.

Nos that I have re-installed it is telling me my CD key is not registered, lol. GoG complicating things
