the way to remove toxicity from a community is to either mentor people, or remove people. sorry to be blunt, but this is the truth of the matter. mentor, and where that fails, remove the remaining toxic people, through use of the server rules that are in place. if toxic people remain toxic, i get the feeling, they are not following all the server and forum rules
The content created for this server is something I would have never dreamt of seeing in nwn2, it's beautiful and enhances the gameplay.
Going through the armor sets and character designs just puts a big smile on my face.
This server is magnificent though sadly it could have been so much more.
A good chunk of players that I enjoyed rping with left this server because of toxicity, cliques and favoritism, including content creators.
I'm not in the position to point out who initiated the arguments or who was at the right, though I genuinely think this server lost a lot of good people because of it.
What I think what would be the best for the server if amends were made, and the current team would reach out to those that left.

Those who were wronged are the ones who decide whether to make peace or accept amends. Sadly a lot of people are in denial of their own toxic behaviors.
The perpetrators need to accept their role in those behaviors and the events that transpired and vow to be better people.
Having been out of the loop entirely for one and a half year (though I was never even part of the BG discord in the past, which seems to be a key here), can someone inform me (in PMs obviously) what this toxicity revolves around?
I can however say that in my absense from the server, it is clear that a lot of content has been added on the character appearance side, and I have come to understand that is in great part to your credit, athornforyourheart. In that, you have my respect. Great work, indeed. It is water under the bridge now, but I too stepped down from both QC and DMing at the time partially in frustration with elements of the community. So even without knowing the details, I know how it can wear you down.

I hear ya Thorn4yourheart, more than you can imagine.
And it's also too bad our rp roads never crossed.
