I'm building a 12 swash 10 duelist 5 weaponmaster 3 shadowdancer int based fighter.
Does weakening critical stack with each crit and is it worth taking on this server ?
With epic precision bypassing crit immunities will it also stack on those units?
Sounds kinda fun reducing some boss strenght to 10 while having +55AC.
I was thinking of going 14 swash 8 duelist ,5 weapon master and 3 shadow dancer if it actually does.
I'll lose 2 AC, deflect arrows and 1d6 on piercing attacks and gain a 2strenght reduction on crit.
I'm regularly asking build questions here and just taking the opportunity to thank all for the help here as well.

Re: Question weakening critical
Very definitely worth it.
My build has it.
It stacks each crit.
It does only wprk on enemies NATURALLY vulnerable to vrits and not immune to ability drain. Epic Precision does not help in this case.
For usability...
Using it i downed an epic boss from 47 ab to 22. It was a 15 minute boss fight so nothing OP but - it is a lot of fun switching around your AC/AP/Athkatlan based on how long a fight lasted. Like, you open with Atkathlan + ICE, fish for 3 crits and drop either ICE to CE or athkatlan amd so on.
I feel it genuinely makes or breaks my build so long enemies arent immune to it. It means i can afford to either not buff up or to use my DPS rapier rather than shield rapier as i have a decent chance of landing a crit in my opening flurry, giving me effective AC.
Bit of a gamble, but if you are lucky it can be around 1-2 AC per fight.
Kinda sucks vs multiple foes. But so does the rest of the kit (you lose 3 hidden AC due to swash 10 + dodge feat).
As a WM with extended crit range, it is even more reliable.

Re: Question weakening critical
Epic precision just apply 1/2 sneak damage and Insightful Strike damage to crit immunities. It does not actually bypass crit immunity. So it does not stack with those crit rely abilities such like Weakening Critical. But to those opponents don't immunity to crit all of these abilities stacks well

Re: Question weakening critical
It actually applies 1/1 IS damage. Punching a skeleton with 7 int and combat insight gives 15-18 damage from 2x7 + 1d3spyvsspy wrote: ↑Wed May 12, 2021 9:17 am Epic precision just apply 1/2 sneak damage and Insightful Strike damage to crit immunities. Yes I did not say clearly. 1/2 sneak and full IS and Death attack. And now it seems Assasin is nerfed. Will have only 1d6 death attack, the rest transfered to sneak dice.

Re: Question weakening critical
it wasnt a nerf it was a bug fix, ultimately nothing has changed since 9d6 death attack is the same as 9d6 sneak attack
death attack is just a save vs paralysis that does not need all the other dice to trigger but there was a bug with the damage with manyshot that was triggered by death attack and not sneak attack which is negated by switching the rest of the DA die to SA
also it should allow assassins to qual for ISA sooner like they were suppose to but ISA doesnt take into account other forms of SA
so really it was more of a buff if you were trying to get high SA dice
