1. The lizardfolk asked for assistance against a gnoll force that were attacking them, seeming peaceful a group of adventurers accepted the task and helped to beat back the gnollish force attacking the lizardfolk.
2. A small group of adventurers returned with the lizardfolk to their home to offer further assistance with the aftermath of the gnoll battles. They discovered the lizardfolk to be quite welcoming to outsiders and peaceful under the guidance of their chieftain Hisazux, A abnormally large lizardman. They underwent a ritual for the earthmother at the request of the tribes spiritual leader Sazilus the shaman to determine if there intentions were pure. The ritual of harvest, in which they were judged by what can only be explained as a spirit of power within the waters of a sacred pool the lizardfolk refered to as the moonshae well.
3. having been connected to Greenest through the adventurers involved in the events they invited the moonshae lizardfolk to visit the rural town with permission from the self proclaimed Queen of Greenfields Dharva Scatterheart. Through this meeting a rapport was established and trading for building supplies was agreed upon by the two parties.
4. Weeks pasted and Chieftain Hisazux requested the participation of past involved adventurers in a rite that was to begin soon. having been so open to strangers a challenge was made against the chief for leadership as a small group of lizardfolk had disagreed with bringing in outsiders. The trial by combat was accepted and adventurers watched as guests as the chieftain battled one of his own tribesmen to the death. After the battle all those that doubted the chieftain bowed and revered in his victory as The shaman Sazilus deemed his victory a sign from the earthmother, and her will that Hisazux should remain chieftain. Next hisazux invited the adventurers to be apart of a sacred ritual, a binding ritual, a ritual that involved sharing the heart of the challenger amongst the tribe, to the lizardfolk of the moonshae this was not seen as barbaric or evil, it was a way to carry with them the deeds of a lost tribesmen. Though this lizardfolk challenged their chieftain it was not through hunger of power, or glory to be the one true chieftain, a challenge was made because he believed his actions as a new chieftain could better the tribe, and this was not only honored, but respected to the highest degree. In eating the heart of the fallen it was believed his values and intent to strengthen the tribe would be absorbed within those whom took part in the ritual. As the ritual took place a single small bite was taken from many tribesmen and passed around until it was the adventurers turn, those some seemed hesitant in the ritual, the want and need to learn and respect their cultural differences was apparent and with such all adventurers took part in a small bite of the heart. After the ritual was completed chieftain Hisazux named the adventurers and to strengthen their bonds with the outside world ruled that with the acceptance of our fallens heart, they have accepted part of the tribe into themselves, thus making them part of the tribe and so it was these adventurers became tribesmen of the moonshae.
5. Time passed with a peace and understanding as the peoples of greenest, rocky creek, and adventurers of the city explored one anothers differences, they grew bonds, traded, and went on hunts together, growing and learning that with acceptance and understanding, the moonshae was no threat to anyone from outside their world, unless their actions threatened the natural world of toril, and with the arrival of a ogre tribe peace quickly began to fall apart. Unusual to ogres a level of structure and command came from their ranks, and the lizardfolk were approached with demands by a magical ogre chieftain and his followers, Hisazux attempted to reason with the ogre, but ultimately failed as the ogres demanded one thing the moonshae would never consider giving up... their young. the ogres had a taste for eggs, and without a steady supply of lizard eggs threatened destruction of the lizardfolk village. Having been put in a unacceptable situation Hisazux went to the peoples of greenest in hopes of assistance. Though Queen Dharva was unwilling to lend any hands from greenest itself, adventurers of greenest itself threw their selves into the lot and offered assistance in any way they could. After talks with the chieftain It was explained that the adventuers of greenest were needed to call to arms old friends of the moonshae tribe, a unusual group of friends known as the Locathah. At the time a new lizardfolk face came to speak with the group, his name Ssixus commander of the moonshae spearmen. having had previous ties to the locathah the adventurers were charged in helping him speak with the keeper of waves, the one and only leader of the locathah, King Spoonache Beeblebub, Keeper of the current.
6. after much preping it came time to travel to the lands of the locathah, and with teachings and magic the adventurers traveled to the sword coast waters near candleskeep. With the help of potions crafted by the powers of the moonshae well, Shaman Sazilus gifted them the ability to breath water, and decend into the depths of the open ocean. The journey was long and cold as the adventurers played footing to old forgotten ruins beneath the waves, and there the waters moved with fishlike humanoids. As they sloshed around uncoordinated and slowly, the locathah gathered from behind rocks, ruins and sea vegetation until a voice echoed out in the deep, bubbly, and high pitched. Who has entered the domain of King Spoonache Beeblebub! Keeper of the Current?! And does it bring offerings for my hungry locathah? The adventurers explained their venture to seek aid with Ssixus of the moonshae tribe and then gifted the king with their offering of surface world meats. King spoonache accepted the offering and what could only be explained as a whirlwind of locathah swarmed the large amount of meat, hundreds of what we're once cute 2 foot tall fishmen became a frenzy of terrifying teeth and claws devouring the meat faster than a school of pharaohs. Once completed they vanished into the cold dark waters around retracting teeth into their ridged gum lines as they did so leaving only King Spoonache standing on the ocean floor in front of them. After much talking King Spoonache was convinced to help their lizardfolk friends and a old Alliance between two monsterous races was rekindled.
7. Due to the extreme differences of the surface world and the sea the hollowmoon tribe with help from adventurers were required to collect oils for the locathah tribe fishmen, for unfortunately the sun was not kind to their scales and prolonged exposure dried their skin causing it to crack and bleed, if not cared to it can even lead to death. After a stockpile of oils were collected the locathah traveled the long route inland to the hollowmoons village. Chieftain Hisazux had already prepared for their arrival, having setup many different camps to house and tend their needs. Meanwhile reports came in from lizardfolk scouts near and around the ogre's stronghold to the north, it was discovered that a alliance between the ogre tribe and a tribe of bullywugs from the marshlands north was brokered. With this new found information it was decided that a first strike offensive was in order. With information gathered from scouts it was decided that King Spoonache beeblebub, keeper of the current would travel north west with his 200 lochathah warriors and engage the bullywugs in a ambush before there tribe was prepared for war. Meanwhile adventurers and the hollowmoons tribe would strike the heart of the ogres stronghold in full force. The day of the battle came and within the rocky cliffs and jagged edges of the Claws war began. The ogres were taken by surprise as Ssixus leader of the spear warriors charged in with new weaponry provided by merchants in greenest. The spears were twice the length of the crude spears the lizardfolk used before deals with greenest were struck and with that the ogres found themselves in a tight spot being combated by means in which they had on counter. Quickly chieftain hisazux rallied the ogre forces to the mouth of their cave stronghold all the while Ssixus secured the outside area. The end was in sight, and praise began to ring out from all... All but Ssixus whom spotted a king Spoonache and a very small group of exhausted locathah fleeing to their location. , it had appeared the battle did not go well and more than half of the locathah fishman warriors were cut down during the bullywug battle, which came to be know as the slaughter of scales. Out of 200 locathah warriors only 43 survived and the battle was lost. Durring the heightened panic of the locathahs arrival the enemy made their move, unknown to the hollowmoon tribe and adventurers alike, a deal was also struck with a group of trolls within the Claws and it was revealed in the form of boulders rolled down from the hills around the stronghold crashing into the spear warriors front line and smashing a hole through their barricaded position. Armored ogres flooded from the stronghold cave stepping through the lizardfolk and engaging chieftain Hisazux in melee combat, all the while trolls jumped down from the hills charging from the sides and rear. Ssixus and adventurers attempted to retreat back to chieftain Hisazux while king Spoonache and his remaining locathah held the rear, but side swiped by the trolls they were cut off and chieftain Hisazux found himself alone and behind the enemy forces, his personal guard dead, and surrounded by ogres wielding tree's. As the tale goes Hisazux cut down over 20 armored ogres before a blow from a tree met his gut, shattering on impact sending splitters flying into his gut and the area around. With the power of the adventurers Ssixus was able to cut through the trolls and reach the chieftain, but not before the lizardfolk forces were decimated. A front line was established again with the remaining forces just as a great horn rung out from a distance nearby. King Spoonache gathered his warriors and spoke but a few words, the bullywugs are coming. It was clear that it was not possible to win at this point, chieftain Hisazux was in bad shape, gravely injured and the only option was retreat, but with all the injured it was clear not everyone would be so lucky as to fight another day. It was in this moment while hisazux was prepped for transport king Spoonache Beeblebub, keeper of the current stepped forth with a meer 27 locathah and stated that the only way an escape could be made was through distraction.
He and his tribal warriors would stay behind to ensure the hollowmoon tribe and adventurers would escape. As the wounded were escorted from the area Spoonaches voice rung out echoing through the canyons a distance away. " ohh you see little land fish's Spoonaches people, ohh we LOOOOVE surface foods! Num num num mmmm so tasty TASTY SWEET! the succulent taste of land meat.... Mmmmmmmm *the same sound heard within the depths of their homeland rang out, terrifying teeth devouring meat..*
8. The journey home to the sharpteeth woods was slow, the chieftains condition though stable, left the others to worry for the tribe, Hisazux had been chieftain for many years, quite a feat for the lizardfolk tribe, most chieftains only lasted a few years at best before death befell them... But not this one, he was unique, special, blessed by the earthmothers moonshae well waters. With luck home was reached and rest came to the chieftain and his tribe even if for a short lived time. Two days passed and in walked Spoonache Beeblebub with now but a handful of locathah warriors, they were beaten beyond bloody, scales half missing, their skin was dry and cracking from the untreated sunlight exposure.. Before they collapsed Spoonache spoke but three words.. They come now....
9. Drums began to echo out from the forest, a distant rumble growing with each passing moment, the sound of doom traveling on tighened drum skins. Adventurers worked to rally the remaining able bodied tribesmen, There allies the locathah... all but defeated... a stray few remaining, not even the mighty King spoonache beeblebub able to contest the enemies arrival.... there was panic as many of the lizardfolk gathered around the moonshae well with their shaman Sazilus begining in a prayer, plead, a cry for help from the earthmother... They were beaten, their homes.. soon to be destroyed... Their hatchery... to be raided, and unborn children taken, and eaten by the fowl creatures that matched their way. As this all took place a large lizardman emerged from the hachary caves, spear and shield in hand, a deep gash in his gut were splintered tree wood still remained, puncturing his scales and flesh with a light trickle of blood running from the wound down his legs. It was chieftain Hisazux, and he looked out as the village began to quiet, and all eyes met to his form. He could see the fear in his family, fear in the lizardfolk, the remaining locathah, and even the adventurers, but with a calm voice he boasted to all.
The bloomsss will be in ssseason ssoon, The moonwell ssshall ssshine brightly with the evergrowing moonssshae musshrooms, the watersss, teeming with life, and the foresssst around... ohhh... the sssounds of the natural world... they will echo, *he nods slowly*. There iss a time to come when the ssstrength of many ssshall faulter, and one must lift up his people alone."
Time ticked away and soon the tribe found themselves surrounded by the forces of their ogre enemies and bullywugs alike. A final demained was made by the ogre cheiftain, the tribe will provide half of its monthly eggs or be destroyed now, and all of them taken. Cheiftain Hizasux stepped forward, still injured from the fight before and offered a counter deal to the ogre chieftain. The deal was simple, fight me now in single combat, should you win my people will accept your demains, should you loose your tribe and the tribes of the bullywugs will leave this land forever, never to harm us again, Hisazux held out his hand to the ogre. The healthy uninjured ogre chieftain looked upon the weakened, barly able to stand Hisazux and laughed grasping his hand in acceptance and as he did The moonwell began to glow.. Shaman Sazilus looked on to the waters he stood in as they lite up with light and whispered a few words under his breath....
The earthmother issss here...
10. The fight began with Hisazux striking the first blow headbutting the ogre that stood just as tall as him knocking him off balance while pulling the axe from his back he had never brandished before in combat striking at the ogre with the fury of his faith behind the swing, clashing into and through the armor of the ogre chieftains shoulderplate. The ogre roared out in pain as the axe made what seemed like a impossible blow, and he back handed the injured Hisazux sending him flying and tumbling to the ground. As he layed weakly trying to get up the ogre ripped the axe from his shoulder tossing it to the ground, then something unexpected happened, a symbol of a wolf, unicorn, and great whale circling one another suddenly seared into his wrists. Hisazux, to his knee's at this point, looked to the ogre chieftain and spoke, your deal hasssss been accepted by the earthmother.
*TO BE CONTINUED*

Known to some as Hisazux, (deseased) Chieftain of the Moonshae lizardfolk tribe.
Hisazux is a strong spiritual leader that believes all things happen for a reason, roads do not intersect by mistake, and most times this reason is the Earthmother. He is highly religious to the god of his people and often seeks her guidance with anything of note. He is very inclined to speak with outsiders to form trade, and pacts of friendship, wishing a more peaceful view of his people rather than war. He wishes to keep war as far from the lizardfolk as possible, though this is not always possible. For him war is a last resort only chosen when no other way is attainable. Because of this outlook, he is widely inexperienced in tactical combat, and often will look to allies to aid him in such affairs.
Hisazux is often seen carrying a battleaxe on his person, though a greataxe does rest on his back, none have seem him use this weapon, or even remove it from its straps. He wears a leather belt complete with small pouches on his left and right side, and often glowing plants from the moonshae well can be seen glowing vibrantly from inside, almost making the thin leather pouches look transparent. He wears a amulet crafted with various river beads and hemp around his neck, the pendant depicts the small picture of a unicorn surrounded by a pack of glowing blue wolves, beneath them a giant whale of enormous size, on the rim of the pedant is sylvan text in a perfect circle that reads, "The primal spirit and power of nature on Toril"
Hisazux is one of the largest lizardfolk in the moonshae tribe, and by rumors of the other tribesmen he was not always so. It is said that when Hisazux first underwent the Ritual of harvest he was given a great vision of times to come, those of the tribe whom attempt to ask of this simply get the response, "there iss a time to come when the ssstrength of many ssshall faulter, and one must lift up his people alone." Even the great Shaman Sazilus has failed to gather more information on his vision, saying even the earthmother will not reveal it to him. Ever since the day of his vision he has grown in size each year reaching a current height of 9 feet tall, but why? the mystery eludes. Hisazux has been chieftain for five years, the same time it takes a lizardfolk youngling to reach maturity. he has been challenged for leadership twice, both times the winner of trail by combat, and the lizardfolk people trust in all teachs he offers.
Hisazux was slain by a formitable ogre chieftain while defending his tribe in a duel to the death, though before he died of his wounds he struck the final blow winning the battle and ultimately protecting his people from the threat.

Sazilus the shaman and spiritual leader of the Moonshae tribe.
Among the Moonshae lizardfolk tribe, the birth of a Shaman is rare, for there people do not possess the innate ability for casting magics. Every so many generations a egg will hatch containing a pure green hatching, though as they grow there colors change it is said these hatchings are blessed by the earthmother herself, and from even a younglings age can create effects. Sazilus is one of these rare hatchlings, and wasn deemed the title of Spiritual leader when the old shaman, Zuxius died. unlike the many other challenges the moonshae tribe holds, such as the rite of Khazzix and the challenging of a chieftain, the spiritual leader cannot be challenged as it is believed they are the choosen by the earthmother to lead. his title like many other however shall pass on, but only in the event of his death. The shaman has the power to override the chieftains command if it clashes with the earthmothers teachs, though this is rare.
Sazilus carries with him a stave, the head of which is carved into the shape of a red flower, it has been passed down from shaman to shaman as there time ends, and the tradition goes back further than the oldest lizardfolk can remember, giving light to the fact that the lizardfolk have no written history. he adorns himself in the swampy growths of the moonshae well, and carries nothing else on his person. Hisazux and Sazilus both get along very well, both having a high level of spirituality in there attitudes. Sazilus is both medicine man, and ritual guide among the tribe and completes all rituals that come to be weather is be the ritual of harvest, trial by combats, or the blessing of eggs.

Ssixus the warrior, and leader of the Moonshae Spearmen
As do many great peoples of the land, when it comes to command someone must lead, in the case of the Moonshae tribe, Ssixus is there military leader. Though not always, as like much of the other functions within the tribe, a challenge can be made, though these challenges are not to the death as others. rumored talks within the tribe say the hatching of Ssixus was rare as they come among the lizardfolk tribe, for Ssixus grew within a egg of enormous size, twice that of a normal egg and having killed the birth mother whom layed it. The egg was cared for within the hatchery dwellings just as any other until the time came, and the hatching began. As shell cracked and peeled away what was inside became revealed, and the tribe was puzzled with the outcome for as the top fell off two lizardfolk younglings rested inside, both identical in size, color, and markings. As Ssixus came to the day of maturity he was given his name, and so was his twin brother Zasux. Both grew to become the two best spear warriors among the tribe constantly fighting one another for the title of leader of the spear, in the end Ssixus won and became leader over the spear hunters, and the Locathah king Spoonache Beeblebub gifted him a magical trident. This did not sit well with his brother Zasux and knowing he could not best him he decided to go a differant route, challenging Ssixus's spear brother pupal Harzus in the rite of khazzix. The battle was not fair for the five year old Harzus whom had just been named months previous, but understanding the fate of his honor Harzus accepted. Knowing he was outmatched Ssixus gave his trident to Harzus in a attempt to even the playing field, but as the fight began it was clear whom the victor would be. Zasux toyed with the young lizardfolk warrior, while darting his eyes to Ssixus durring the combat. Harzus having been training with Ssixus learned to spot such disruptions in combat and leaped at Zasux when his eyes were focused on Ssixus, though he was promising, he was not quick enough on the jump and Zasux Skewered him, ending the fight instantly, all the while staring to Ssixus. Zasux left that day having won the rite of khaxxiz and has never been seen since.
Ssixus carries the trident gifted to him by king Spoonache Beeblebub Keeper of the current to this day, and it is said among those within the tribe that the trident speaks to him just before the morning dawn, other then that, the weapon is a mystery. other belongs carried by Ssixus are a pull string bag loaded with potent moonshae mushrooms, a pouch full of mosses and molds. and a set of lizardfolk battle armor.
With the death of the chieftain hisazux, Ssixus underwent a tirual and became the new leader of the lizardfolk tribe. Hvaing been close to Hisazux he honor's his fallen leader by attempting to stay true to his values.
