EDM and Last CHA on same Level Up not posssible?

Hello.

I was trying out something in JEGs, an EDM build that on level 29 gets two feats: CHA +2 (to reach CHA 21; Epic Divine Might. However, in JEGs, after taking the CHA +2, and I'm asked to choose the second feat gained at this level, I cannot choose Epic Divine Might.

I had assumed that once picking a Epic Ability Feat, it immediately applied, thus unlocking such a feat as EDM that has a min req....and just as in on a level up when you pick a +1 ability, you are prompted for only +2 ablities afterwards.

However, it didn't go this way in JEGs. So, and obviously, JEGs and the Server are different, and I'm slightly nervous that waiting to lvl 29 to find out I CANNOT take a feat to meet the EDM req. on the same level, would be absolutely crushing. Anyone have this experience, working or not working?

Luckily, I can swap around that CHA +2 for earlier gain by putting Divine Shield at the last feat taken. But that would also be unfortunate!

You can't take the last cha (21) and EDM on the same level, I'm pretty sure because it's only calculated after you confirm the level. I imagine the reason you can take the +2 is because the +1 is the prerequisite.

Yes you cannot take EDM the level you get the requirements, you need to already have 21/21 to take it so it would work the same here as in the JEGS

I’ve actually done this before, leveling to 29 over 3 years and then Epic Failing in order to take my planned last Feat. Lol. Not a good day.

Great Ability feats only take effect after confirm leveling, but normal bonus ability can take effect while leveling. So if you have a bonus feat on 28 and match 21 on 28's bonus ability you can take EDM
