Re: Rumors & Events of the Sword Coast, North...of Baldur's Gate
After one of the battles at Boareskyr bridge, a black-clad female elf known as Esme, who often frequented the defense, found herself surrounded by Blackrose soldiers. It is said she was accused of a murder and was quickly brought down when she unsuccessfully attempted the escape. Later on, she was seen in cuffs being dragged through Soubar on her way to the Blackrose keep.

Two elves are seen leaving Fort Prominence in the Northern Tradeway, they speak in their elven tongue briefly, one of them departing towards the south and the other to the north.

A woman in rags has been seen caring for people in Soubar with care and dedication. Trembling gently, she took a lot of time tending the dead and mending the wounds. After a while, she has been seen consecrating the Boarskyre Bridge and its surroundings. Her mantra called for peace to be renewed and violence to end. Flowers and herbs have been left on the ground, scattered all around by the windgusts.

She would find company with a raven-haired, armored woman, her shoulder bearing a sigil of a waterfall pouring into a quiet pond. The Eldathian would spend her time between guarding the bridge with the other warriors, soothing minds and tempers where she could within Soubar and between the warriors of different groups, amid caring for lighter wounds that she could take care of to free the Ilmateri for the more severe cases, and leaving the dead to her gentle caress entirely. At most, helping those that have passed to be within the priestess' reach more easily and readily if she permitted such aid.

The war continues in the north, seemingly without any remorse or slack as countless new foes are met every hour by the men and women who defend Soubar from the demonic invasion. It is rumoured however that more than just demons are seen in these fierce battles, from towering arcane golems to oozes and even weirder things, abominations made of the flesh of the fallen towering over the defenders.
Furthermore, talk of a toxic green mist spreading over the bridge found itself under scrutiny by scholars of Candlekeep as they theorised as to the reason behind this odd manifestation. People are the front were soon after encouraged to burn the bodies of the dead enemies and also if samples of any of the fallen could be taken, then to do so and to send it off to Candlekeep for investigative purposes.

Along the northern tradeway, a large white winterwolf is seen moving around Fort Prominence. After watching for a while, the wolf steps behind a rock. Soon after, a green haired man steps from behind the rock and walks up to the fort and hands a rolled up parchment to one of the guards, with the instructions of, "Make sure this gets into the proper hands". He leaves, and soon after the winterwolf is seen heading south.

Re: Rumors & Events of the Sword Coast, North...of Baldur's Gate
A single merchant-dressed traveler arrives at the Corm Op in recent days, a shoulder bag slung over the back though appearing bulky with weight, full of goods. Dressed in drab gray attire, he quickly enters into trade with simple goods that might find use among the Halfling population, which seems to dominate the small town, acting mindful and aware of the soldiers with specific insignia upon their armor. This merchant-dressed person, in general, seems like a nobody, simply trying to find profit through effort of travel to distant, less-connected hamlets, to the main coastal Tradeway, with a few lucky goods perhaps worth something to others. He does transact his business with an over-friendly demeanor—it could be noticed that his trades are more beneficial to the buyers of Corm Op, than would be prudent for one to travel what he himself was overheard as saying "...some distance, from the West." Some may notice that he was outwardly generous to any youth found running about the town, having come with a satchel or two filled with sweets or small, carved in wood toy figures, being themselves adorned with luxurious crowns carved in fine detail.
The merchant-dressed traveler stayed a day and night while attempting to conduct good business, staying at the Hungry Halfling Inn. The man was noticed to take a fine liking to the sour wine locally produced, and was rumored to have made a very large purchase, hopefully managing a way to have caravans ship it toward Soubar, perhaps further on—none would know more.
On the day of his departure, many within the town would have easily seen the merchant-dressed traveler, perhaps on behest of the Mayor's offer, visit the Priestess Macanester upon the high hill overlooking the town. On his descent, he would have also been noticed as visiting the tall watchtower, taking a long and analyzing view of the town from that strategic vantage point, looking as well off into the distance with a measuring implication. From the watchtower, it is said this visitor spoke long with the known townsman Quickfoot, where they conversed for a longish time—if what was overheard spoken, none likely repeat it, as these sort of rumors are often shushed before progressing further. Some say the conversation left off after a stern but concerned look by Quickfoot, and then another special, unknown gesture by the merchant.
All in all, if possible, the merchant-dressed traveler left with completed business and trade, leaving more coin in purchase than in acquisition. As well, a positive, uplifting memory.
//If anyone would wish to have had an interaction while this "merchant-dressed traveler" was in town, do send me a PM IC. Always willing to support that IC inquiry even if via the Forum

It is rumored that House Blackrose was, once again, left without an Arcanist.

Re: Rumours and RP of Thundars Ride
It is rumored that a great replanting effort is underway near the Blackrose Outpost and lumber camp.
Seedling of pine, oak and elm being planted to replenish the lumber taken for various building needs.
It could also be seen that some of the land is being tilled and plowed though what is to be sown remains a mystery.

Rumor has it that former House Blackrose Arcanist, currently serving Order of the Grand Design as High Syntropist, known also as Crossroad Merchant, had been involved in some shady dealings and is now dead because of it, murdered right after his last shipment of a box containing a hat and a book.

Rumors begin spreading of the recent Radiant Heart patrols north of the Gate, joined by an unexpected ally, Amos Thistle, of House Blackrose. With the recent trouble House Blackrose has encountered, could the Lord Regent have become part of the Radiant Heart? Few people may know, and their lips are sealed.

A trail of bright red blood in the Thundar Ride would lead anyone following it to find clothing covered in blood and a broken quarterstaff under a big tree. Nothing else could be seen around and any tracks followed around lead nowhere.

Under moonlight, deep within the Reaching wood, Iolanna returned to the Shrine of her Goddess. She sighed to herself at the trampled grass and disturbed air. It was all tell-tale signs of the chaos and nonsense that had been wrought there, yet again.
She walked about the stone, singing softly an enchantment to revive the grass and plantlife, eventually turning back to the shrine and spending the lingering hours of night in prayer.
"Perhaps Aiden is right; better to pull this fountain down and build anew in true quiet and solitude. Rather than allow Your sanctuary to be misused, and Your doctrine so pointlessly misinterpreted..."

Wayward lost spiders making their way to peaceful fountains. From the shadows of ancient oaks, concealed by nature’s gifts half elven eyes watch and will release a rain of righteous arrows into your black hearts. The Forrest Queen’s Rangers are always watching
