Hair changer not working

As the title says the Hair change is not working, I tried it yesterday and today. I follow the usual steps, correct formula in bio I even had other people check me nearby just to make sure. Make the char with hair name, go back to the other char and nothing. I don't know how many times I have tried and even different iterations of the syntax just to be safe. I've even waited after each log in for a few minutes or more just to be safe. No changes.

I tested my Tiefer with Tail as I know they are on the same script and the Tail is working fine.

Someone please smack it to work!


Edit: Alright so I had logged out to check something, I did not char switch at all, and when I logged back in as the char I had wanted to change the hair on well it was changed. I do not know what I did, I do not know how I would recreate it. In the nexus it was unchanged I went down to my destination and I didn't see it changed at the time. As I said logged back in it was suddenly there.

My question may be dumb, but do you use you helmet changed into hair appearance?

I've just made 2 attempts to change hair:
1) Human - worked fine
2) Tiefling (he has tail and i just added that !:hair without removing tail part) - worked fine.

So... I'm out of ideas why it doesn't work to you.

Ah, in case it somehow matters, i did that in Server 2 nexus (:5122).

Nope, no helm was used, it's surmised maybe a very much longer delay or perhaps other people hit R, logged during that time which shoved me into a queue. But I can confirm for longest time it was not swapping as another was in the nexus with me during all this.

My guess is some weird long delay occurred, I don't think server would matter but I was on Server1 since you mentioned 2.

I mean end of the day the hair did change it just was not near when I had been doing it. So it finally clicked into place later since I still had the "hair" char in my vault and the syntax in bio.

Another suggestion i have is that your PC is stuck with that bug which defaults their armor visuals to one they used previously even when it is not equipped.
I can imagine that could extend to hair too, but it's just my opinion, i don't hold any information on !:hair and co script or how they work under the hood.

I suggest trying that !:head and !:makeover functions next time it happens to you, maybe, those will help faster.

It's mostly a matter of the character file being saved, I wager. Make sure to use PC Tools to manually save your character after adding the command to your bio before you relog.

If that works in the same way as tail stuff, i used to experience tail not appearing on relog, but it did appear after server reset. So, last resort is to wait for server reset to see if that got fixed itself.
