Hello new to BGTSCC and trying to plan out a character but wanted to make sure of what happens when dual classing of taking Prestige class that grants a feat you already have gained? Been too long since Ive played 3.5 rules & never got into NWN2 cause the version I had bought long time ago was bugged so not sure on how this is resolved?
Like what happens when 'Hunter' gets 'Manyshot' after already receiving it from 'Ranger Lv 6' OR getting 'Uncanny Dodge' twice from Dual classing?
Does it give you a 'free' feat to select something else in its place?
Would the second 'Uncanny Dodge' give 'Improved Uncanny Dodge' instead?
Or are feats like this nonfunctional if received twice?
TY in advance, look forward to playing!

You simply won't receive again the feat if you already have it. One exception to that is One Shot from ranger which can be picked separately in the epic levels and then you have two of them.

OK, I don't suppose any other base or Prestige classes maybe count towards the Hunter's 'trapper levels' so you can take in place of Ranger then?

In the case of Hunter, Ranger gives you 'Ranger Rapid Shot/Many Shot', while Hunter gives you 'Normal Rapid Shot/Many Shot'. The normal one can be used in any armor, while the ranger one can only be used in light armor.
