I think this is an awesome change and opens up a lot of possibilities- thanks!

One question - will the change be made before the 100 percent RCR period so that we can take advantage of the changes?

This is cool! Powerful as well!

I assume that it isn’t a one-time, single target but a “buff” that applies to the Ranger and the additional dmg is calculated based on whatever foe is currently targeted? So if in a multiple mob fight, with both FEs and Non, the spell/engine makes a per attack, per target calculation? Probably something we won’t see on the Charscter Sheet, but should see in the Combat Log?

You will see it on the Character sheet as, let's say, +5 magical damage vs Gnomes.

But only when attacking Gnomes, and if Gnomes are not an FE, right? Does the CS even update that fast, to switch between mob types?

Monk/Druid should already be available, it was already unblocked mechanically, just the description needed updating.

Bladesinger/Deathsinger and bard will need to wait for the patch, which hits end of next week. That'll give about a week to 100% RCR it, if someone wants to.

It's a buff that is applied to your character and is visible on the sheet. The game will properly calculate that damage against the targets of the specified race you hit.

You mean casters would now have a great spell to make them much better in melee??? Travesty!!! Get the pitchforks out :lol: :lol: :lol: Poor clerics...

Anyway, good change as well especially since blasting spells are crap on BG because of the way the server is built. Now casters will have an option when the DC spells not work. It is even greater for gishes
