Just a suggestion but there’s hidden “teams” on the DM screen discord for themed characters (though not ones that are in guilds). Team Evil and Team Tree, for instance. You could request a similar for Team Dwarf maybe?

He's talking about the fact Discord is far easier for the lazy, so when given the option they will run to Discord as an alternative over forums, in a general sense.

Both have their place, but with some, it's harder to get them to be active in forums over Discord.

Correct, Discord is basically a better replacement for skype - something that allows users to communicate directly. Discord lacks persistence, lookup and is not suitable for users with different playtimes. Thats why forums even on large MMOs with very active discord not only are not replaced, but are essential.

People should not be afraid of this, but embrace it
