Bhor Stonecutter is seen hiring 6 stonebuilders and a caravan from Kraak Helzak to transport stone to Warrior's Rest, the Tavern at the Bladestone Foundation to expand their cellar and adding an cold-storage room.

He sends a letter to the Headmaster and Proprietor to inform them the transport soon will emerge.

Citizens of Kraak Helzak

It has long been our tradition to welcome our cousin folk, The Gnomes, into our realm and hearth. While few have yet traveled to our great home, today it is with great pleasure I will uphold this tradition with a select member.

The Gnome, Otto Potts ,has been reviewed by trusted advisors and has been been vouched for by the same.

From this day forward, Otto shall be a citizen of Kraak Helzak. He will be entitled to all rights and privileges and be expected to take up arms in defense of his fellow citizens during times of need. Let all clans record this date and decree and make welcome the newest member to our realm.

A barrel of beer would be delivered to the doors of Kraak Helzak, and left with a note on it. Attempts to scry it for poison would reveal nothing harmful...only that the contents contain VERY POWERFUL ALCOHOL.

Esteemed Citizens of Kraak Helzak

My name is Salim el-Hajib et-Hital el-Faddir. I am the Head Engineer of the House of Spades. I hope this letter finds you all well...it's attached to a barrel of booze the likes of which that's so strong it might cause you to actually FEEL your chest hair growing.

I've taken up beer brewing. And it seems to me like since my beer tends to be a lot better than the pisswater that humans seem to THINK is Ale I wanted to present a barrel to you for your own judgment.

Drink. Be merry.

And if you like my beer: Please buy some. I have several barrels of the stuff ready to go, and I'd be honored to wholesale it to your kingdom and put it in the bellies of Dwarves, Gnomes, and other people who actually know how to APPRECIATE GOOD BOOZE.

Best of cheers!

---Salim.

A pair is seen moving often around the troll claws caves and near Krak Helzak, a dwarf clad in high quality full plate with an axe and shield and a woman with a blue greatsword and a light combat suit, fighting trolls and evil giants on the way. When asked of their purpose around they simply respond with "Checking on something."

A trip to the Kraak Helzak Forge

Image

On a sunny day in the warmth of the valley in the Troll Claws a dwarf Dral and a robed gensai Teris made the trip to Kraak. Upon arriving the upgraded armaments brought awe and wonder to their eyes. The clean cut stone and flowing lines of the exterior is inviting and drew the dwarf in like coming home to ma's stew on the hearth. Upon arrival the guards greeted the dwarf with familiarity and the niceties were returned in kind as they progressed through the arched bridge into the keep. Once inside the two walked to the Forge area inspecting the progress of the adamantine refinement and were pleased to see upgraded forging equipment and a jet black metal glowing white with heat in only the juxtaposing way the metal can. The robed man walked over and cast a magical light so the dwarf could inspect the purple sheen and purity of the metal coming out of the refinery. Pleased the Dwarf spoke with the head craftsman and handed him a large bag of gold and spoke on the terms of delivery to House Vale. Upon reaching the door to exit the dwarf took one last look over the upgrades and declared "This will be a new era for the Dwarves, Gorm bless Kraak"

A dwarf looking for a still

A skinny dwarf by all dwarven standard has been asking around for a still to make small batch rum.

A journey led him to Kraak where he was able to find a smithing dwarf that may be his answer.

Image

After some searching he was led back to the forge

I hope this is the answer, good metal back here nice an clean,

A ginger-haired elf with bronze skin enters Kraak Helzak, bearing a sack of sugar. Finely ground and, supposedly, high quality. He leaves it at the kingdom's surface Toll House, leaving a request for payment attached with a note addressed to one dwarf named Doan Mardain.

A blond dwarf in a white robe leaves payment with the dwarves in the toll house. He picks up the bag and immediately opens it up for inspection, and smiles.

"This is payment for the sugar, please make sure he receives it next time he visits" On top of the payment bag he leaves a high quality flask engraved with the words "For Samples"

As the Rocky Creek caravan pulls off and stops at it's agreed-upon resting place, a short, swarthy man steps out with a large smile and larger stretch. Jackard cuts a now-familiar figure to those that frequent the external market area, and makes small talk with the vendors and other visitors whenever he crosses them during his stay.

Taking a room in the new Burning Troll Inn, he would remain there a few days.

The rooms were a bit small and a bit... dwarven.. compared to his usual tastes, but they were clean, secure, and the buzz of merchants and adventurers in the tap room, combined with the free-flowing ale and food, made up for any minor lack of typical luxuries.

He is seen entering the hold itself and trading in gems with a local merchants, and makes a point to spread word of his availability for meetings throughout his network there.

Griffon's for the Hold

A large poster written in dethek runes and the dwarven tongue is posted up outside the Temple to Moradin and the main gate to the city

Calling all adventuring Dwarves of the Keep.
Drocke Slivereye and the Fortress of the Holy Anvil need your aid in helping to secure the aid of Griffons for the kingdom. No matter if you be Haela praying battlerager or a staunch defender of Gorm your aid could mean the difference between success in establishing new alliances and securing the future security of the kingdom.
For those of a mind to see this done know that you should gather at the Meeting room within the city on the 30th of Flamerule 1357 and be prepared with diplomatic minds and strong steel.
A settlement of the outcasts lives nearby our intended destination and it is recommended each dwarf has some means by which they can defend themselves.

- Drocke Silvereye of the Silvereye clan, Hammer of Moradin in service to King Dovkin Battlehammer.

((OOC: This event is open to all dwarves (Shield and Gold) and will be held on July 31st at 7pm BST. Please meet at Kraak Helzak in the meeting room (Opposite the bath hall) and try to arrive 15 minutes before the event start time.))

Two elves arrive at Kraak Helzak to report drow sightings in the troll claws from the day before. They seem to stay in the area - making base in the dwarven citadel.
