I've leveled a charachter mostly though RP xp, and it seemed pretty consistent in value both before and after epics, but I wasn't counting the frequency. Pre-epic mobs more reliably can be worth more than a tick of RP; but if you talk a lot, it's about equal and lower risk.

As to the OP, that seems pretty standard for me. It mostly means that you've been doing a lot of talking, since the ticks seem to happen about once a minute or so. If you talk once a minute you have a decent chance of seeing that, but most RP is slower when one waits for other players to respond.

Macros used to pop the XP RP. You could just click-like-mad a macro in some corner of BGTSCC near another PC, and just rack up 1400xp per reset...but in like 30 seconds!! However, constant macro clicking was script-blocked, and now the "flow" of RP XP is capped (or restricted...whatever!).

Still, it does make gaining a lvl 30 PC through no act of adventuring, sooooo much easier, with no actual per-reset-cap.

I mean sitting afk with a macro spamming it to get exp. :P There have been some people who have tried that. Often while fishing.

I don't say it's bad. RP xp is always good. From my own experience, i get 15-30 xp before epics and 25-50 after i hit epics, that's what i mean with "not good" and "good". Sure, even if it didn't go up after epics, it's still like killing a mob every N seconds which doesn't happen so often without a long and super boring grinding session.

The RP XP tic is 20+dCL. So at level one, you'll always get 21 RP XP per tic, and at higher levels, you obviously have a good chance of getting more. There seems to be a cooldown period of roughly 30 seconds implemented in between tics. I've tried to spam short sentences to test it out, and seemed like I got a tic roughly every 30 seconds that way. On the other side, I've waited about 30 seconds and then emoted, waited 30 and emoted, etc. And have gotten the same as spamming short sentences.

In my experience, RP XP is roughly equivalent in level gain to grinding out mobs when stretched over time. In single sessions, grinding is better xp. But over weeks, it balances out.
