I know *some*, not all, spells are supposed to have a visual effect in dnd, but nowhere in the source books does it mention polymorphing into a Christmas tree or a space shuttle launching pad as a side effect. ;)

Some of these spell effects could use with a little toning down. Not removal, but toning down.

Tortoise Shell is glitched and makes you look like you are covered in mud, not wearing a carapace. I forgot to mention Stoneskin, but that spell has no visual effect at all in dnd, if I recall, as it makes your skin as tough as stone, not actually stone or covered in stone.

Abyssal Might could be toned down as well, as it's just a badly done low effort texture by Obsidian that makes you look like you showered in engine oil.

I'm glad several people agree with the absolute egregiousness of Magic Circle et al.

Just some tasteful toning down, is all.
