Requirements[edit]
Race: Drow or Half-drow
Alignment: Any evil (or any good if worshiper of Eilistraee).
So get your goodly Drow fix on!
Except apparently the idea was to be taught by a bladesinger. That... would not happen. As I understand it, bladesingers are some of the more... zealous (for lack of a better term) elves out there; likely to fall into the "kill all drow on sight" camp, and most certainly not going to teach their most treasured secrets to them even if they didn't murder them.

Truth be told, the whole story seems a little outlandish for a PW (or any D&D environment with more than one player character, really), so if the player can't find ways to tone it down, it's probably better to let them down now, before they've invested too much time in making it happen. (On the other hand, if I didn't know better, I would never think we'd had a dragonblooded human convince the Seldarine to actively reincarnate him into an elven woman, so maybe I'm being too cautious with regards to how much epicness one is allowed to fit into their characters' stories... :|)

Ideally I like the idea of drow changing their ways and trying to return to the elven fold. It is a bit snow flaky but it seems logical to me that some drow would want that even if the vast majority of drow are tainted and wicked.

The point was raised that we want to give you fair warning that is will be hard to pull off.

I rolled an orc monk once.... yes some crazy person taught an orc how to use chi...But simply being an orc on the surface was a very lonely experience. After some hard work and effort to insert my monk orc into the setting I eventually gave up.

I still say go for it...just know it will likely be a solitary experience.

My character would likely try to help but she is Drow as well. What I would propose is having the Seldarine gods have their demideity guises for Sshamath, as detailed by the server lore of Sshamath.

If you havd the option ingzme, Vhaid Ih'ara is Corellon Larethian.

I find it outrageous that eilistraeen drow cannot be bladesing as blade and song are center pieces of her.

And now imagine you make elven worshipper of Eilistraee and you cannot be NEITHER bladesinger or deathsingers because of mechanic restrictions that make totally no sense  :?: :!: :hand:
