Except apparently the idea was to be taught by a bladesinger. That... would not happen. As I understand it, bladesingers are some of the more... zealous (for lack of a better term) elves out there; likely to fall into the "kill all drow on sight" camp, and most certainly not going to teach their most treasured secrets to them even if they didn't murder them.
Truth be told, the whole story seems a little outlandish for a PW (or any D&D environment with more than one player character, really), so if the player can't find ways to tone it down, it's probably better to let them down now, before they've invested too much time in making it happen. (On the other hand, if I didn't know better, I would never think we'd had a dragonblooded human convince the Seldarine to actively reincarnate him into an elven woman, so maybe I'm being too cautious with regards to how much epicness one is allowed to fit into their characters' stories...
