Every spell can be scribed now. If there's any you find are missing let us know, but most should be scribable. However, not all spells are available in stores, and the linked guide, while fairly complete, is still missing a lot of new stuff (or says merchants have things they don't, mainly Soubar scribe vendor is missing some things the guide says it has).

If anyone cares to give me updates I'll fix the OP of the guide.

I am going with Wizard and /scholar/archmage/thaumaturge, 5/10/10/5
I have some more questions if anyone can answer.
- Does the Archmage Shaping mastery affect the spells that target the ground such as evard's black tentacles?
- As a Thumaturge, I am going all the way to Epic Conjuration, to make sense char-wise. Is that worth upgrading evocation further as well? I have spell focus currently.
- Is casting Necromany spells evil act or something? I was wondering if neutral chars would use this school. My char is LN, any arcane spell would be considered evil such as wail of banshee?

If you want your DCs to be higher in Evocation, sure. Depends how your character looks feat-wise. Since you only have 5 wizard (base) levels, you'll only be getting 1 bonus wizard feat.

Only spells with the "Evil" descriptor are evil in nature (e.g. Animate Dead, Create Undead). Some necromancy spells are good aligned (e.g. Opalescent Glare). Unless these thing are specifically mentioned in the spell description, consider the spell "neutral" in terms of alignment.

No, only instant effects. Fireballs, horrid wilting and so on.

At the end, I've gone with Wizard/scholar/archmage/thaumaturge and am quite happy with the spellbook and the variety you can have there. But the number of spells is definitely less than sorcerer, and also, the spontaneous casting as a sorcerer was also really good. Having said that, I think I still personally preferred the wizard so far.

Thaumaturge is an amazing class I think, love having two summons. It's amazing, and they are really beefed up compared to the regular summons.

- I have one normal feat left to choose at lvl 18. I was going to get 'spell penetration' but there are many items available for this feat I think so seemed a bit redundant. So thinking about combat expertise. Is this a good pick for the wizard +3 AC could be always useful I thought?
( He will have epic conjuration focus, and evocation focus, and all metamagic obviously other feats)

Combat Expertise is a great pick, especially if you intend on using shapechange at all.

You can also consider Greater Evocation Focus so you can reignite all Evocation spells of levels 1-6 (if you have all metamagic, then preparing a level 6 Evocation spell on a level 8 or 9 slot can still be reignited, though the reignited version won't have any metamagic on it).

As a conjurer, you definitely want Epic Gate, especially if you start dealing with True Name summons. Have fun!

Reignite Evocation? Is this suppose to work automatically or do I somehow enable something? After casting an evocation spell, I get a message that it is active, what do I do after that?

Drag the 'Reignite Evocation' feat to your hotbar. You use that when it tells you it's active.

So If I find a name in a dusty tome (which I found before but with no name in it), or somewhere else, I call this being and negotiate with it?
Do I need to negotiate and pass diplomacy and lore-planes checks to come to an agreement?
I have 9 Diplomacy and 17 Lore-planes right now. (No Buff) Do I need to increase these significantly?
do these cost gold to cast?
Are these really noticeably more powerful than regular planars? Do the conjuration focus bonuses apply?

-then you write the true name, name to the gem
-summon it
-discuss the payment(if you fail diplomacy check, the price goes up 150-300%)
