It should be fixed for next patch. This will only affect new drops, though, not existing ones

The change has not gone live yet, we have not had a patch since the fix was put in.

Well, since it's already ready_not_live, means it's set how it should look like now, so they can actually ask DM to fix it to the compliance with future fix :)

Should be live now. Please report if you find new armor and it's still buggy.
