By the way, they are all dexers because tiefling uses Dexterity much better than it uses wisdom for zen archery, even though a grey orc boy scout wisdom based can be very strong, but they are meant for PVP too much over RP.

Manyshot is hardcoded to only work with Dex... so you will see a significant AB penalty on your first salvo as a Zen Archer. I learned this from the staff after building a Zen Archer Ranger (Slinger), which is unfortunate because, in my opinion, Zen/Rangers are one of the strongest builds in the game because the high Wisdom compensates for Ranger's low will saves.

I’d say Ranger 27 / Cavestalker 3 if the PC is living in the Underdark and you want the Ranger specific feats to work.

Ranger 27 / Shadowdancer 3 also gets CL 30 with Practised Caster.

Ranger 21 / Assassin 9 is still best as a TWF melee version, even with the Death Attack fix applied on BGTSCC. The Favored Enemies bonus compensates well for damage loss against crit immune.
