I'm so sorry for your loss, man. She was so young.

Covid is no joke y'all. My father died of it last year (edit: actually 2020. This warps my sense of time). Please, please get vaccinated and boosted so the people who can't are still protected.

Very sad news.

I have fond memories of RP with her. Her sometimes challenging chars did inspire a lot of character development in my own.

In Memorial, with the permission of Lannia's player who drew this some years ago, a picture of Adelaide:

She was one of both Lannia's and Derik's first friends both IC and OOC on the server. Tiberis79 asks me to pass along her added grief at the loss of her friend. Glow is and will continue to be missed.

I am devastated to hear this. My deepest condolences, Colonic.

Nomster was one of the great DMs who inspired me before I became a DM. And I have so many memories from RP with her as a player as well.

Now I'm going to have to remember about her for longer than I've known her.

I was missing her a lot even though our paths went different ways a while ago, now...

She was an easy soul to chat and play with, and a remarkable writer. I'm so sorry, brother. Keep yourself safe and healthy, as she'd no doubt have wanted. Kia kaha.

She was great, both IC and OOC. I enjoyed our RP interactions, and I still remember many of the exchanges between our characters. She was such a good RPer on any toon she played, whether good or evil or somewhere in between. Hands down, one of the best.

OOCly, she was such a kind and considerate person. She'd happily coordinate some backstory, or help out in a jam, or just comment on some RP she saw and enjoyed. I've spent the last half hour looking back through our RP and PMs and everything, and I just keep thinking on what a decent person she was.

As a Sunite, Adelaide valued inner beauty, and her player possessed that inner beauty in spades. This bit of RP from Adelaide is a little out of context, but I wanted to leave it here:

"Then, he sought me much sooner than I could have thought.... I was in a state of mind however, even with such short time, to be how I needed to be. To help."

From this thread, it's clear that Nomster helped a lot of us. She was a good person, and I wish her well, wherever she is.

"About this a wise man considers thus: ‘If there is another world, then on the dissolution of the body, after death, this good person will reappear in a happy destination, even in the heavenly world. Now whether or not the word of those good recluses and brahmins is true, let me assume that there is no other world: still this good person is here and now praised by the wise as a virtuous person, one with right view who holds the doctrine of affirmation. And on the other hand, if there is another world, then this good person has made a lucky throw on both counts: since he is praised by the wise here and now, and since on the dissolution of the body, after death, he will reappear in a happy destination, even in the heavenly world. He has rightly accepted and undertaken this incontrovertible teaching in such a way that it extends to both sides and excludes the unwholesome alternative.’"

I am... speechless.

I'd want to say something about this, but I'm taken by surprise. She's always been fun to RP with, and to talk with - with some ups and downs but who doesn't. A big hug to the family and all those she held dear

I am so sorry to hear this. I didn't know her well, but I enjoyed the interactions we did have.

I remember we liked the same tea brand. Pointlessly minor thing to remember, but for some reason it stayed with me all these years.

Words aren't really enough. My thoughts are with you, and her.

This is deeply saddening news. Glowfire was a player I looked up to over the years, she was a delight to interact with and one of my favorite RPers, especially when it came to intrigue. As a person, she was always kind and considerate to talk to, and I'm glad I got to do so as much as I did. She will be missed.

This is sad news indeed. My condolences go out to her friends and family.

I can't remember if Adrian ever interacted with Adelaide, but I fondly remember Nomster from my previous time on the server.

I'm so sorry for you and your loss, and for friends and family. She was amazing, and seeing her come on, without exception, made my day. Please, please, please, take care of yourself, as hard as it might sometimes seem. The same goes for everyone else on here, no matter the effect this loss has had on you, or other losses you might have had. Just take care and hold each other up, and hold up our friend here as he grieves.
