Other: She is often seen in more unpopulated areas with a gray male wolf alongside her. If she takes her companion into populated areas, there must be a very good reason for it.
Personality:
Ashling is usually fairly quiet, especially around those she's not familiar with. She's usually fairly slow to speak, preferring to think about her responses instead of reacting. There are few things that make her truly angry. She is very loyal, her friend circle small. Those she lets in she considers to be family. She remains alert, taking in her surroundings constantly. She's very competitive, and often harder on herself than she should be. She's a hard worker and often demands perfection of herself even though she very easily give grace to others. Laughing usually comes easily to her, and she loves to have fun. She seems equally at home in both city and forests.
Brief, commonly known History:
As far as Ashling knows, she was both born and raised in Luskan. Circumstances came about at the age of ten that forced her into the Thieves' Guild there. Though she didn't particularly enjoy the work she had to do, she excelled in every task given her and moved up from petty theft to assassinations. On her first assassination mission, she was kidnapped by Emmanuel. He took her far from Luskan, travelling for months before they settled in the Sword Coast area. They faked a marriage for many months before they could no longer deny that love and grown and they were married in a small and very private ceremony.
Ashling was allowed into the Green Enclave (The Elder Circle at the time) because she was "married" to Emmanuel. He taught her about nature and eventually she came to love it. Her actions eventually led to Mielikke blessing her as a ranger not long after the two were married. She is currently the High Ranger of the Green Enclave and often acts as Emmanuel's warden, a job she takes very seriously (sometimes too much so).
