Right now, there are factions forming within Baldur's Gate composed of nobles, merchants and commoners that aim to create enough pressure upon Grand Dukes so that they can influence and force actions being taken to the troubles as they happen. A few examples are: The House of Cards, The Chalice of Siamorphe, The New Commons, The Triadic Collective, The Prosperity League and The Merchant's League.

The Triadic Collective

- As the name suggests, a collective of worshippers of the Triad- knights, paladins, judges, traders and craftsmen that live their lives by the credo of Triadic order, law and morality.

Description:

As the city of Baldur's Gate stirs with political activity, some of the population comes together under the banner of the Holy Triad. A union of those who believe in a society guided by Justice, Mercy and Duty instead of the ever growing corruption and greed.

A new shelter for those who refuse the threats of Dark Gods, a shelter for those who would rather pray for a new and enlightened city instead of praying for their lives to be spared.

From the farmer to the noble, everyone who sees a better and just future for Baldur's Gate is welcome within the Collective.

If you want to sustain our efforts or share your ideas all you have to do is to knock at our door.

General Objectives:

• Promote laws and initiatives in agreement with the Teachings of the Holy Triad.
• Improve the city' security while decreasing attrition between the people and the keepers of the law.
• Work toward an improved and empowered system of justice that would offer fair judgement and trial to the populace.
• Provide support to the less fortunate and vulnerable.
• Oppose the increasing worship of the Dark Gods.

Word spreads that the representative of the Temple of Torm, Sir Alexander Holgart, called for the first official meeting of the Triadic Collective.

Preparations for the meeting have begun, no date nor place has yet been announced but the Collective will gather soon.

It is said that the Knight has expressed a desire to keep the meeting open to all of the faithfuls of the Triad.

The following announcement is being published by the representative of the Temple of Torm, Alexander Holgart:

It is with great pleasure that we hear about the upcoming recruitments for the City Watch of Baldur's Gate.
The Temple of Torm renews its commitment to train and support the defenders and keepers of order.

Lawkeepers should be allies and protectors of the innocent, hearing their steps in the streets should make the people feel safe.
We hope to provide guidance and advice to the officers of the Watch, in order for their men and women to embody those allies that we envision.

Order and safety through fairness and justice, not fear and violence.

Word reaches the Triadic Collective, the following flyers are to be spread far and wide around the Heartlands and the Sword Coast, to reach all of the faithful.

Brothers and Sisters in Faith,

The fire of war spreads in the Western Heartlands.

The Lords Alliance musters its forces at Corm Orp to strike Darkhold, one of the citadels of the Black Network.

The Zhentarim spreads under the shadow of The Black Hand, within its reach blooms rot, tiranny and corruption.

"Deliver vengeance to the guilty for those who cannot do it themselves."
Says the Evenhanded.

"Stand up to all tyrants, and allow no injustice to go unchallenged."
Says the Broken God.

"Strike quickly and forcefully against rot in hearts of mortals."
Says the Loyal Fury.

Let it be known that the followers of the Triad are ready to stand with the Lords Alliance.
