Hello everyone.
I've never made a bard before and as such have several questions and concerns based on the NWN2 Wiki and the BGTSCC Wiki.
1) For abilities like Song of Freedom (d20 + bard's level) does this mean levels in bard? or overall character level?
2) Does lingering song make all songs increase by 5 rounds including songs like Legionanaire's March which is 10 rounds?
3) Does Epic Inspiration mean that in addition to your inspiration it does BOTH slowing and jarring inspiration too? or just one or the other of the two?
4) Do bard PRCS (Stormsinger, Dissonant Chord) give you more uses of Songs per day? Or is this only for bard levels? Trying to understand if going PRCS gimps your songs or not. Same question for Song of Requiem, is it actual bard class level + perform skill /2 or your character level + perform /2?
Ultimately, I want to make a build that enhances my party, weakens enemies, but pretty good at meleeing too. Might do bard 26/rogue4 based on what I've seen suggested on the forums but also curious how bard PRCS might make the mix more interesting which is part of why I'm asking the questions above.
Thank you!

Re: Bard Questions
Uh, I may be unaccurate on some stuff, but I'll try to answer you at the best of my capabilities.
As for the Song of Requiem: (Bard Level + Perform Skill)/number of enemies up to six. Not character, bard.
That's my opinion, others may have different ones.
Also: hi!!
Levels in bard.
Yes. (AFAIK)
Not sure about this, never had a bard in epics - but from what I read, "you may blend slowing and jarring inspiration into all the rest of your repertoire", it likely means both?
Yes, they do, but not in Epic levels. Yet.Valeron wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 2:39 pm 4) Do bard PRCS (Stormsinger, Dissonant Chord) give you more uses of Songs per day? Or is this only for bard levels? Usually bard PrCs make you either a good caster or the terror of casters. Song of Requiem is a must. If you want to go melee and not through casting and stuff (so from afar), you can certainly biclass as either rogue, fighter or cleric.Valeron wrote: ↑Fri Jul 01, 2022 2:39 pm Ultimately, I want to make a build that enhances my party, weakens enemies, but pretty good at meleeing too. Re: Bard Questions
The PrCs do not progress song and give you more songs.
