EW isn't applying regularly.

The icon stays on but the effect on gloves is quite often missing. Once this happens, only reactivating the feat fixes it for some time - but sooner or later it's not working again.



This was also mentioned by other players, I think it started happening with the first ToT patch.

This was also mentioned by other players, I think it started happening with the first ToT patch.
This was most likely a result of effects being stripped which may be fixed now.

After the latest patch, all the lore skills are now flagged as requiring training to use.

None of them get a bonus from Intelligence, and cannot be rolled as a result of this change.
The only exception to this being Lore: Arcana, which still states it requires training.

Is all of this an intended change, or an unfortunate side-effect of something else?

No clue, it wasn't discussed staff-side or even reported to us that it was being changed. I'll bring it up in dev chat.

Looks like it was changed 2 months ago.

You sure this only presented in the latest update?

Looks like it was changed 2 months ago.

You sure this only presented in the latest update?
I haven't used them in that time, except by passive reference of having some knowledge (Intelligence mod), but not in-depth knowledge.

There is no mention of changes to the Lore skills in the Server Update thread, which is likely why it went under the radar for me (and likely several other players too).

I RcRed a character I was having issues with. I picked skills, but when I picked a different class my next level the skills that were part of my prior chosen class were no longer considered class skills. I thought that was part of the change, so if it is, class skills are not carrying over when you multiclass. Also locational background (Calimshan Human, for example) are not carrying over their automatic language when the character gets into game.

It is always highly recommended that players do not recreate a character with the same name after RCRing until after a reset. Otherwise variables don't get reset and the game assumes you've already chosen your languages/received your class skill feats etc.

FD, CE, Sembian, Athkatlan, parry, and any other modes or stances get suddenly canceled without any prompt. along with the AFK symbol if it was over my head, and a message of agile fighting and deadly defense being active.
This additionally causes me to lose the enchantment bonus on my armor slot, needing to un/re-equip to fix it.
Also activating Sembian Fencing/ Athkatlan deactivates CE or FD if they were on. But not the other way around.
It happens every random interval and can be anywhere between 10 seconds and 15 minutes.
As requested, I've played some more with this bug testing for whatever I could think of, and I found new quirks that go along with it. To break down in points everything happening, because it's getting confusing to explain. :)
Randomly, without doing anything (just standing idle) all of the following occurs in a frequent cycle:
1. Any active modes, stances, or abilities just outright cancel. This reflects in the icon bar next to portrait, in the character sheet, and in rng calculations, so not a false display.
2. This does not happen with Parry, which is the only thing that stays on.
3. If I press on those abilities again they trigger deactivated as if they weren't canceled, and I need to wait for the cooldown to reactivate.
4. the passive dodge bonuses sometimes show as 1, 2, or 0 after this happens. This occurs when equipping and reequipping a dodge item as well.
And sometimes when equipping the dodge item, and the passive dodge was at 1 or 2, it will not stack with the bonus from the dodge item.
5. any graphics currently on, such as props in the toons hand, or the AFK sign also disappear. Looping animations are not affected.
6. Resting doesn't solve this. Reequipping all my items didn't solve it. However, removing all my items -> resting -> reequipping all items, seems to delay it by about an hour or so before recuring. (managed to almost do a full run-up around the frost giants before it happened again).

When I go to Sobar Auction House I loose items, usually boots and gloves. when I exit the auction house basement they come back.
